[For once, the fact that Equius is sweating has little to do with his ... proclivities. He is seated in the midst of discarded paper, charcoal and an assortment of water bottles, simple tools and individual parts. There are several towels draped everywhere around the room, some neatly folded and others draped everywhere. one is draped over his shoulder and he uses it to mop his brow while panting. A composite bow of considerably greater quality sits beside him, well tended and cared for, the gift of the gods for a request at a dead god's shrine.

The young troll has been, off again and on again, obsessively using his powers. It has become almost compulsive lately, as if he's trying to make himself useful on some level. Perhaps he's compensating for something.]

The lack of technological advancement within these halls is inexcusably deplorable. Not a proper archery brigade to speak of, and simply a few skilled in the arts of true warfare. There is not a single robotics laboratory or shop worthy of mentioning, and the acquisition of these parts would require an almost inexpressibly infuriating.

If I must remain in this world until the days of its end, and accomplish nothing else, it will be the creation of some proper level of technological marvel, even if I must use their powers to concoct it.

I am informed that there are licenses for vehicular transportation. Where such as these crude articles exist, certainly there must be maintenance. Who would I speak to about employment? If I am to fulfill this, I cannot permit myself to grow rusty waiting on sufficient control over these powers.

Drive? No, not in the slightest. My legs operate more than sufficiently for my needs. No, Jade, what I crave is to create, fashion and construct. Repairing them would be an acceptable thing at least for now.

There isn't much technology here but I wonder if there's anything else we can do to make things that are similar to um...robotics.

There is ... they call it magic in these powers. I believe it can defy the normal limits of this place. Other than that, there is the strange steamworks I have seen of the elves.

There must be more.

I guess magic can seen as technology if it's like that but I don't think it's much.

Steamworks? Hm, I never seen anything like that myself but if they have the power to do something then I'll have to look into it!

It's not like that I am afraid. It is magic and power that lets me draw and alchemize a thing from the paper. You might inquire with them, however. I am not sure how many of them are still around. Their engines were things I saw more in footage from the last great battles.

[Well the bow certainly catches his eye, as do the scraps of paper on the floor. If he had any inclination towards leaving his room a mess, he imagines his own place would look a little bit like that - paper, books, notes, things to keep himself busy and productive.]

I certainly to question the wisdom of gods who have been waging a war seemingly unarmed. But what would I know?

The enemy's weaponry is little different. They rely upon powers and gifts, rather than technological might and force of arms. It will cost them if we do not prepare

Absolutely! This sounds like an wonderful idea! I will drive these vehicular monstrosities about until I have managed to verify their construction. Once I have the workings correctly managed, I can assist in fixing them and modifying to make them better.
