The Magic of Runes
[Video]
[This particular feed looks much more staged than any of her others. A table has been set up, and there's a wooden box sitting conspicuously in the center of it. Hibiki herself stands excitedly a little to the side, making it easy to see the set up.
And in the background, unintentionally, is a sleeping Cyndaquil. Whoops. BUT IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST--]
Thanks to Aladdin-san's hard work, runic magic works in the city now! There were a lot of flashing lights in the sky recently - that means the magic has returned to Asgard.
I'm probably not the most qualified person to talk about it, but... you can use runic magic to do a lot of things the powers from the gods won't. If you learn how to use them right, you can make up your own spells, too!
[She picks up the box, opening it up and showing the bottom to the screen. Inscribed there is a curious circle. In the background, the Cyndaquil gives a yawn.]
This is a spell I made. If you use it, you can conjure melon bread!
[By way of demonstration, she touches her fingers to the circle, causing it to glow a soft green mixed with gold. With a snap, she shuts the box... Only to open it again with a steaming loaf of melon bread inside. She sets the box aside and takes out the bread happily.]
See?
If anybody wants to learn more about runic magic, the magic guild Grimoire's Sigil can help teach you! It takes a little to learn, but... I'm sure everybody can do lots of wonderful things with magic like this!

[Voice]
[Voice]
Where are you right now? I'll go to where you are!
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Pause]
Wait, in Sigyn right?
[Voice]
[Voice] -> [Action]
[And within an hour or so, Hibiki will hear a knocking on the door. Bianca really needs to be on time to these things.]
Hibiki? You there?
[Action]
Bianca-san! Hello!
[She steps aside to let her in! Try not to mind the mess so much... While everything is arranged neatly enough, from the tea sets to the covered birdcage in the corner, there also happens to be a lot of circles drawn all over the room in seemingly any spare space she happened to find. Most of them have the usual runes, but some have unfamiliar swirls instead...
But none of these seem to bother Hibiki, or indeed, her Cyndaquil in the slightest, considering the latter is curled up in the middle of a random one on the floor.]
[Action]
[And once Bianca steps into the room, her eyes widen a bit. There's so many circles in her room! Man, her room is so plain compared to hers. It's mostly a bunch of colorful posters and plush she found lying around!]
Wow, it seems like you're hard at work on those runes!
[Action]
[Who even needs paper when there are floors and walls to write on?]
[Action]
Are you sure? It seems like there isn't much room left...unless there's some other space we can use?
[Action]
[It's a low table, but not too hard to move out of the way. And once she does, it reveals an entire area of clean flooring to use!]
--There! And the circles for runes don't have to be too big, so this space should be enough.
[Action]
Hm? How big are they? The ones that I seen seem to be really big and I could mess up something...
[Action]
[Action]
Well, if you say so. [With that, Bianca let out a smile] Then let's get started! Rune drawings, here I come!
[While she wasn't great at it, she was going to make an attempt to try her best at it. Which is why when she started drawing, the circle came out looking pretty decent but it wasn't that great]
[Action]
When you do that line, it's easier if you write it like this...
[Her voice is gentle, and she very slowly writes out an example for Bianca, trying to keep her arm out of the way as much as possible so the other girl could see it well.]
[Action]
You mean like this? It seems like it could be a little bit better...
[Action]
[Action]
I wonder if I can make a load of bread pop out with this...
[Action]
[Action]
[...]
But I'm good wit any kind of bread, I just want to see if this rune works or not! And if it does, the first thing I'm doing is sharing it with you!
I wonder if I can make some tea with it too...
[Action]
[Action]
[In which Bianca just stares at Hibiki! What do you mean you never had it before?!]
It's one of the greatest things in this world! It's just like regular bread but there's cinnamon inside of it! They have this brownish color with swirls instead! Sometimes people put raisins in there too but I don't really like that...
Hm...what else to say about it? I guess it's really tasty too?
[Action]
[With a bit of thought, she draws a circle and corresponding runes within.]
...I don't have any of the paint with me to make it work, but I think if you used this one you should be able to make cinnamon bread with it!
[Action]
Okay then, let's get started! [She looks at the rune one more time before doing anything else]
Here we go, I hope that it works!
