[It's getting cold -- and at home, Daphne spends the cold seasons hiking or skiing. Enjoying home and time spent with family. Here, the story is a little different, and it's put her in a thoughtful mood.]
Does anyone celebrate Christmas here?

I think we should have dinner. And get a tree. Or -- whatever else is celebrated.
[She has no idea if the Pendragons celebrate Christmas. Or if the Winchesters bothered. But after hard times, a little warmth and family is a good thing, right?]

We'd decorate the Roadhouse with all those cheap, obnoxious plastic things. It was fun.

We used to cut down our own tree.

Dinner? Hell yes.
[A pause, and he smiles a little more softly.]
Sure we could find a suitable tree somewhere.

[Perfect. Deadpan.]

Uh, yeah...
[He's not sure how to respond to that sass.]
Wonder how the gods'll feel about it.

I don't know.
[It's an admittance.]
But I don't see why being here should stop us from celebrating our relative health and happiness. Dinner included.

I'm not planning on celebrating it!

What do they do in Japan?

[ a small smile as she nods. She likes the idea of it, doing something that is light and enjoyable for once and not threatened with the shadow of war and memories and pain. ]
I think it is a good idea. The others will certainly enjoy it too. There is much to celebrate and I would help you in any way that I can.

[Warmly. Daphne doesn't have very many girl friends. Spending time with Morgana sounds like a treat to her.]

[ a bit of a grin. She cannot cook to save her life but like hell she'll admit to. A lady has to impress. ]

Well, everyone can learn new things.
[Lightly.]
Maybe we can teach the boys how to cook.
[Castiel can't to save his life.]

Are you and your friends planning on celebrating it? If not, you're more than welcome to spend it with us.

[Somewhat sheepishly.]
But it's good to know other people get into the spirit of the holidays.
