My mom tried for a while, and we weren't exactly the most festive family, but it was fun.

We'd decorate the Roadhouse with all those cheap, obnoxious plastic things. It was fun.

It's being with family that's the most important part anyway.

We used to cut down our own tree.

Christmas in Japan's kind of a thing for couples.

Well ... a lot of big cities but on light displays! Kobe's is especially famous ... and you go to see them with a date or group of friends, and exchange gifts with your girlfriend! Sometimes people have christmas parties with friends but they kind of overlap with the bonenkai -- that's the farewell party before everyone goes home for New Years!

Christmas is my favorite holiday! Well, it's tied with Halloween, but I still like it.

I've never really been much of a fan of Halloween... I'm kind of a wuss when it comes to scary movies.
