[ Much like Arthur before her, Mithian sits, holding her crown in her hands, fingers tracing along the textured gold. She looks as though she's trying to make some sort of decision. After a moment, she lets out a sigh before turning to the camera.]
There are many of us from different worlds and here, we are one and the same, titles and names hardly matter in a place such as this, in a battle like this one. I ask, what is the point of holding on a symbol of something that holds little value here? Priorities have changed and what was important is no longer as important as survival, as helping others to survive, and win this war so that we may all go home.
[ She pauses for another moment before she sets the crown aside, fingers lingering for a moment.] I wonder if anyone could tell me where the nearest market is. [ Because she's going to sell that crown. Yep.]

Although she feels tired and unsure of herself, of what her life here evne means, almost a crisis of faith but the faith that's in trouble is the faith she has in herself.]
Thank you again, Arthur.

[ His smile is tight, still, but genuine. The fronts of Court life are easy here, but so too is the friendship budding between them. Arthur offers her his arm to escort her out. ]

If I have been blessed at all, it has been in the kindness and loyalty of those I would call my friends.
[ It's said with clarity, but he doesn't look back to her until the words lift from the air, and he smiles privately for her. She has remained kind and loyal, certainly. He can't say the same for everyone else at moment; at least, not without falsehood. ]
[ action ] so I thought I responded to this. I'm a derp
She glances down before her free hand reaches up to touch her crown without her thinking of it.] You are a good man.
[ action ] lamsdfljk shh I love you
I do try.
[ He isn't convinced that he succeeds just yet, but he does try. Arthur stops them at the porch to usher her over to one of the benches in the corner, out of the way enough to give some semblance of privacy. It's a bright day out, but the air is chilled in winter's grasp, so he unclasps his cloak to cover the edge of the bench for her, wrapping the shoulders about her once she's seated.
He stops to give a brief, more as a method of calming his own thoughts than looking for anyone that might be within hearing distance of them, and then there's another beat of silence once he's sat beside her, hands folded in his lap before angling himself to face her. ]
For as long as I have been here, I have still yet to fully come to terms with the time that separates us all. If we're being entirely honest, [ he raises his brows and gives her a playful smile; royalty is rarely ever so. ] it weighs heavily upon my mind even now.
[ action ] no love you moar
His words has her brow furrowing with worry, her hands laying in her own lap for a moment. His smile does very little ease her worries, however. But she manages to smile back, with concern.] What about it troubles you? I must admit, it's been difficult to be the only one who has memories of certain things and I cannot even tell you things you may like to know for I don't know the whole circumstances behind them. That is something I regret, speaking so candidly to all of you when I first arrived instead of showing... tact.
[ action ]
You should never apologise for such a thing, Mithian. Most anyone would be distressed upon being swept away to some mystical realm. You carried yourself with the courtesy and grace of one searching for their bearings, and in this, you bear no fault.
[ He nods his head forward just slightly, to make certain she can see his eyes and the sincerity there. No blood, no trespass. ]
Rather, it is that for which I feel I must apologise. Through no fault of our, certainly, but things have become so heavily convoluted -
[ His eyes flicker to her crown and back before he sighs and turns away, to the rest of the porch that stretches before them and the trees beyond that. Distantly, he wonders if it'll snow. ]
This is what troubles me. It is far too easy to find myself lost.
[ action ]
Their gazes meet and she looks to him as he apologizes, for what, she is not sure, the confusion must be clear on her face.]
You are are lost, your highness? In what? [ She says it as a friend, as a friend who would offer to help in any way. ]
