[ Link is really trying to restrain most of his annoyance, but a lot of it leaks out anyway. A few days of running on high tension does that to you. ] Where am I to find more information? Such as whatever sort of abilities have been “bestowed” upon me? Apparently, these gods have placed me in the house of Heimdall. [ Somebody doesn’t believe in myths… ]

I shan’t ask if it is true in regards to the impossibility of going back, because I am not the first person here, nor would I be the last.

So—this duty of living here. Explain what every day life here is like.

Travelers associated with Heimdall are granted either Energy Lending or Damage Drain. It should have been explained to you upon arrival, but at times it is missed in the information given.

I have compiled details on some of the powers here.

The easiest way is to test. Damage drain at your level is not particularly dangerous, and another user of it will likely agree to allow you to attempt draining a minor wound. Energy Lending can be tested on a volunteer as well, though it is more difficult to notice the effects of.

I doubt a complete stranger would take kindly to my asking if I could "test" though. [ Dryly. ]

Most of those in Heimdall are aware of the difficulties in practicing their powers and are sympathetic. However, if you are hesitant about asking, I can assist you. I have Damage Drain, so I am well versed in how it works, and am familiar with the effects of Energy Lending as well.

Ah -- it's a bit long, but this should give you some more information on what we've faced in Asgard.

There are weeks when the Gods might not...be feeling happy. [Yeah, let's go with that]

So they might do a couple of things that don't make us happy either like trying to kill us or making us sick for a week.

I was not aware that gods are subject to human conditions such as emotions. [ He can feel a headache. ] But trying to kill people? I was under the impression that they wanted help. If so, they should not be spontaneously pulling people here; it might be more beneficial to ask. I am sure there are people more than willing to help.

Oh, there are people who are willing to help! Especially against whatever happens here from time to time!

I can't say that I talked to one myself but I find it a little difficult to when one event killed one of my friends...

Link is, well, trying to keep most of it under his control. Saving it for in-person, as some things simply did not go over easily by this kind of communication. ] And they simply left? Odd.

[ Yuu Kanda disappeared with Alma Karma, and so did Bookman and his apprentice...the Noah took the remaining Thirds, Chaoji inflicted with some strange virus, and most of the scientists are recovering. ] As I said, you're not out of trouble even here.

Perhaps they should be the only ones here. Everyone else can be sent back.

If these gods can be judged by their actions, they probably then have little thought for a few lives lost.
