[ the device is registered under the name: 'THOMAS HARDY'. that's a fairly english name.
he's been observing the nature of this dream. it's quite quaint for a dreamscape, the constant shifting and subtleties aside. he's trying to measure just exactly how this set up works. gods work as some sort of leader-type that he should allegedly follow but somehow, as he's been observing out of the network - they're a little bit too self aware. to well constructed and he's not sure what the grand purpose of it all is.
but eames has always been willing to immerse himself to try to scope out more information. blend in. somehow he finds himself limited even within the realm of the dream. trying a kick out seems too risky with this level of sedation, he'll try to adapt, infiltrate the dream from the inside until he can figure out exactly who's responsible. ]
right. i'm normaly not one to give into blogging but i've got loose change, a deck of cards and no desire to find a suitable occupation.

i'm normally a spartan judge of character, but i could be wrong.
[ risky, considering he's really masquerading as another bloke. ]

It takes some serious skill to change your bracelet name. [and by that she means it took her a long time and some help to change her's from 'joanna beth' to just 'jo', but it's not impossible] So four. Do you have a time or place?

Get a thing or two in order. I'm relatively new. I'm open to suggestions.
[ eames is going to scope out a place, territory where he's in advantage and legroom to run. ]

Some friendly games.
Some not so friendly games.
I guess you could say it was a way of life for a while.
But everyone needs an honest way to buffer their wages.
So I'll hold my own against whoever you put me against.
I'll bet on that, too.
[Ladies and gentlemen, a cardshark in its native habitat.]
video;
I'm not certain what this blogging is you speak of, though I can hold my own at a hand of cards.

it's more a refrence to how everyone else has adapted to normalcy. everyone seems positively, domestic.
can you?

[She grins, nodding.]
Indeed I can. I'm told I have a marvelous poker-face.
no subject
says a lot about their 'worlds' then if a warzone with no way out is the safer option.
it'd be a shame if just your poker face was marvelous.
no subject
Yes it does. But if you listen to some of their stories, it does make sense.
[She grins.]
Well I don't wish to come off sounding conceited, so I'll let you be the judge of that.

ptsd ought to be more common place, but perhaps - thats a personal opinion.
:) in the words of craigslist, your pic gets mine.

Well, what exactly would you have them do? I, myself, would much rather try to make the best of things than to focus on the things I can't change.
[She looks confused for a moment but she smiles all the same.]
I'm not certain what that means, exactly, but thank you. I... Should be thanking you, right? [Really, what is this craigslist??]
no subject
your prerogative entirely. not a bloke worth thanking.
no subject
[Her eyebrows raise a little.]
Well, I'll thank you regardless of what you think. So, thank you.

[ and interrogate them, to try to see if they know anything about this situation or who their employers are, he'll bring the heckler and koch as his betting chip. he's not a forceful sort of bloke, but he can't say in full confidence that it's not as if he has the cleanest slate. ]
recommend anyone?
