This has probably been covered a bunch of times already and everyone's probably sick of people asking, but is there any way to know for sure - 100% sure - that someone's gone home and isn't just missing somewhere?

[ Allison's not entirely sure what sort of answer she wants here, honestly. ]

If someone leaves Asgard, their name disappears from the list on the network. Other than that, I don't know if there's a way to tell.

But that doesn't prove that they're home, right? It just means they're not here anymore.

[ Someone said it's possible that they'll end up in a completely other universe when they leave here; how does she know her dad (and Stiles, for that matter) didn't end up in one of those? ]

They say that it's a matter of others not answering their devices, but I don't like the idea of limiting it to just that.

I've heard that if they're not on the list, they're not here anymore. But I definitely agree; if they're just not answering, how do we know they're not just busy?

Yeah. I was kind of hoping it was a hiccup with the system or something. But even if it's not, his name not being on there doesn't mean he's gone home.

[ She considers leaving it at that, but then she figures that it's probably not the best to be short with Jackson just because she's worried about her dad. She's the one who wanted him and Scott to work together, after all; she can at least be nice to him, even while she's freaking out. ]

It's my dad. Stiles disappeared recently, too.

[ just say yes to that and that their belongings are still here or something allison. OR ELSE HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO COME TO TERMS WITH THE FACT THAT SOME PEOPLE GOT TO GO HOME AND HE DIDN'T. ]

We haven't been able to find him/get a hold of him at all. Scott said something about his room being empty, too.

[ Stiles, she means. She hasn't gone to check out her dad's room, but it's not like it would make a difference since he probably didn't have much anyways. ]

He's been gone for about five days now, Jackson, and he didn't tell me or Scott he was going anywhere. And now I can't find or get a hold of my dad, so unless they're Stiles-ing together somewhere and forgot to mention it to anyone...

How in the hell did they get sent home?

I don't know.

[ Allison's worried, though, for a couple reasons. 1) What if it means everyone else is going to get sent home and she'll be stuck here? (Possibly with Jackson, since they were the first two here.) And number two: ]

How can you be so sure that they're home? I talked to someone the other day who thinks they might be sent to another unknown universe, like this one. What if he was right?

A couple of his friends disappeared, too, and he was wondering the same thing I am now: do they really go home or could they end up somewhere else instead?

Positive! I won't let someone go through something like this by themselves, and I've gotten sick of people just disappearing out of no where.
