[Alastair's finally sort of figured out the bracelet thing. He's looking tired, a little frantic, and just pretty lost in general... he still hasn't really gotten a grip on what's going on.]

Uh... Hi. I'm Alastair.

[What is he even doing this is so stupid. He sighs and runs his hands through his hair nervously.]

Okay so I just got here, and I've already been looking around but I just wanted to ask. Has anyone seen my sister? She's a couple years older than me, long black hair, usually wears a blindfold but she's got some... what looks like tattoos around her eyes. Her name's Danaya and... [his brow furrows for a moment like he's thinking one thing but saying another.] ...well I haven't seen her yet.

[He's silent for a moment. He's getting angry and upset again but he shakes his head and smiles insincerely.]

That doesn't surprise me, but I'm sure there are some people here who would stare at you like you just crawled out from under a rock. [But those people come from worlds with ridiculous things like television and electric lighting.]

I'm kind of feeling like I did.

[There's just so much here to get used to.]

Well, if you're any good at adapting you'll be able to settle in. If you're not then you're out of luck!

[He's had to adapt before. But that was a long time ago, under extremely traumatic circumstances.]

You could always sit around and hope the gods send you home, but that doesn't seem very productive. There's a war coming up.

[There's a pause as he considers how to respond, trying not to be snappy. He takes a deep breath before continuing.]

What would you recommend, then?

Mm... helping out, maybe? Not necessarily with the war, but helping the other people stuck here.

[secondborn]

[That's not something he ever plans, he just kind of... does it. Not helping out is something he can't imagine himself doing. Or. You know. Not doing.]

What's the best way to help out, then?

There's a hospital you could help at. Or you could get a job.

[secondborn]

[That's... not what he'd immediately think of when someone asked him to help out.]

Yeah? Huh.

[He's thinking about it.]

Did you have something else in mind...?

I'm just used to home, I guess. Helping out is different in that context. Getting a job is really helpful?

Well, if you get a job you'll have money, which you can then spend in our businesses!

I'm just a little confused as to how that would be especially helpful under the circumstances.

Well, in the case of Draco and I the more people buy our stuff the easier it'll be for us to work on things that could help in the war.

[Seems like a pretty roundabout way to help out. He'd prefer a more direct method.]

Magical potions, charms, herbal remedies... that kind of thing.

No problem! You can do some other things on the bracelets too, like write out what you want to say and filter things to specific people.
