[Here, have a much more put together Mithian, she's not covered in blender explosion goo! She's sitting in a lovely dress, her hair down in curls, clearly having settled into her new home.] I must admit, I've only done a little bit of exploring of this world. But I was curious if there were stables here. I have yet to find them.

[She offers a soft smile, it's hopeful] Are there any? I have been missing my daily horse rides and would like to resume them here if possible. [And a sense of normalcy in this place would be nice.] If not, I would like to find a way to acquire a horse to own, myself.

Ah ... It's ... probably not the sort of horse you're thinking of, but have you seen the one in Gefion Park, Mithian-san?

I have not, what do you mean?

Gefion Park allows horse rentals.

I have a friend who tends them. If it interests you, he could set you up with a horse or even a horse and carriage. Or... I could just do it, he won't care. [Protocol? Whatever.]

Does it? [She perks up.] It would interest me very much!

It does! I can ask him now and give you instructions or arrange a meeting. What sounds good? [But then, a moment's consideration...]

These horses are ... eight-legged though, if you haven't seen them. They are not scary, no, just double the legs. More sturdy, actually!

--Eight legs?

... Well ‒ yes. But they aren't scary. Just more... you know, leggy.

I am not sure what to make of it.

They have the same temperaments as regular horses. Most are very sweet!

Does that deter you? ‒ I think... ‒ I think Asgardian horses are all this way.

I suppose I'd like to meet one first.

I'll speak to my friend. I can introduce you to the animals and to him, but he can tell you more about them than I can.

But ... try not to make fun of his accent, ah?

Does he have a strange accent?

Ah, if I'd known sooner -

[ He smiles just a little. Knowledge of arms, an affinity for riding; the Lady is rather similar to Morgana in many respects. ]

We are in possession of a fairly tempered horse. One as learned as you should find no trouble with him, if you'd care to meet him.

I thank you for the gracious offer, your highness. I would very much like that. [She brightens at that.] He does not have eight legs does he?

-- erm. No. No, last I checked, he was still your typical ... four-legged equine.

Then that will do very nicely. I am wary of a horse with eight legs.

Hm, I don't know. Suppose it might be twice as fast?

Perhaps they are. Although I am not sure what I need speed for here.

Without any neighbouring kingdoms to pay visit to, most of our riding should be for pleasure, should it not? Though I might fear for the gallop of an eight-legged horse.

[She laughs.] As do I.

I'll have a key to the stables made for you. Feel free to take him out whenever you please.

[She brightens at that.] Thank you, Arthur.

Of course. Let me know when you might like to be introduced, I'll see that he behaves himself.

I could be over within the half hour, if you'd like.

I would like that very much.[She smiles softly.] What's the horse's name?

He is called Storm - Sir, by those closest him.

[ It's a bit of a joke, but Arthur does speak fondly of the horse, almost as though he's an old friend. ]

He belongs to one of my Knights, Sir Leon, who was here many moons ago.

Sir Storm. [She brightens at that.] Then I vow to take great care of him.

He will appreciate the company, I am certain. I try to ride with him at least once daily, but I haven't quite the time to tend to him the way our stablehands would in Camelot.

[ wait, that sounds ... not good. ]

Not that - you, of course, are not a stablehand, you haven't got to - they're all chores meant for Merlin anyhow, the lazy sod, I can never get him to do what he's told even though I've explained to him that's what servants are for, and -

[ 8((( this is not going how he planned. he huffs. ]

What I'm saying is, you don't have to feel ... obligated, to do so. That's all.

[ oh, this again. he's adorable when he's fumbling. so she waits for him to get through it and grins. ] I am not sure I would know how to truly tend to a horse, Arthur. But I could try my best. [ since it seems like he's sort of asking. it's kinda gross to consider, but fair trade? ]

[ He exhales softly and smiles weakly. ]

So long as he brushed before and after a ride, and there's food readily available for him, he should be fine.

[ Arthur usually sees to most of it in the morning anyhow. ]

I think I can manage that quite easily, Arthur. Don't fret.

[ A soft huff of a laugh. ]

[ Why is he so bad at women? ]

I shall be there soon.
