Yeesh, finally got this thing to finally work properly. [A soft mutter, before he continues on.]

All right, it's been nine days since a lot of us arrived. For those who found their companions-- good for you, and make sure to stick with them. Figured that since it doesn't look like we're moving anytime soon, then settling down for the time being ain't a bad idea.

For anyone in Heimdall, I'm setting up my room for a clinic. I don't care what this whole thing about powers or whatever that was granted to us is about, but right now it's too weak to help anyway. I'm sticking to traditional methods, so if that's not your cup of tea, you can go all the way to the hospital for all I care.

Check-ups are free of charge, anything else is negotiable.

Non-residents can come too if they want, but it ain't gonna be easy on you to stay too long in the building. Tried it elsewhere, and it was just one hell of a headache to deal with. Until I can set up a proper clinic, this'll do.

A few hours, give or take. The longer I stayed, the more I got the feeling I'm not wanted there.

Family doctor, though I take a look at other patients from time to time. Haven't been able to lately due to some circumstances, so I thought it won't hurt to try it here.

Better than sitting and waiting for something to happen.

Well, a little bit of pain won't hurt anyone, but it's not going to be much help if you use that for every single injury others get.

You're gonna have to bear with alcohol being your antiseptic for one, because I don't trust a lot of those modern medicines I've seen around.

Yeah, but if they're able to stand it, there's almost no point in taking it in the first place. Maybe lessen it a little, but that just makes it harder on you to get out of the situation in the first place.

I can understand how it can be useful in a war, especially if people with that kind of ability would stay behind as support. That way, frontliners can continue to fight while the rest stay behind to take the injury for them.

It's a good tactic, if it's even applicable.

Not exactly. It's more of a practical use for that kind of ability than a belief that there's been a war.

Though I wouldn't be too surprised by it.
