[ the bracelet feed clicks on to Hilda (as it should), but anyone who knows her or has even just talked to her once will know that something isn't right. aside from the surgical mask she has around her nose and mouth, her usual bright blue eyes that are filled with pep look much more downcast and tired. her brow is furrowed in worry, and she's not making much of an attempt to hide it from the network. ]

I know it's probably too early for it, and a lot of people are in the hospital and clinic trying to get better... but has anyone started to work on a cure for this yet? My healing powers are pretty strong, but they still aren't doi-

[ she's cut off by a weak rumbling noise coming from off screen. it's definitely something living, and whatever it is, it's in pain. she turns the camera away for a moment, only showing her boots and a strange patch of white feathers, though the audio still remains: ] I know... It hurts a lot. Just hang in there, I promise I'll find a way to make you better. 

[ and back to the feed. now she just looks distressed and just a bit panicked. ] Um... yeah. My powers aren't doing anything, no matter how hard I try. The hospital isn't really an option, because... the thing that's sick isn't human. But if anyone knows about any sort of medicine that might help, tell me! Even if it only works on people! Since-

I think I'm running out of time.

[ just the thought makes her go pale, but she turns off the feed before anything else happens. ]

[Since learning about the cannisters from Katniss, Watson's been paying greater attention to the bracelets.]

[ although the mask hides it, she does smile lightly before moving out of the camera's way. behind her is a large beast with white feathers, lying down on a makeshift bed of leaves. it's breathing is staggered, and it's body is spotted with burn marks. ]

Pokémon. Dragon and Fire-type, to be specific.

[Wow. Watson was -- not expecting that.]

If I may -- how did you come upon such a creature?

[Even as he asks the question, Watson is sizing up the burns, identical to those appearing upon his own patients. This is ... not a good thing at all, Hilda.]

[ nobody ever expects Reshiram - not even people from her world. she's used to it. ]

It's kind of a long story, but creatures like this are sort of common in my world. Reshiram's one of a kind, though.

[ which does stress how important it is that Hilda doesn't lose it. she has no idea if Traveler revival works the same way for those that came along with them. ]

I take it then that Reshiram was exposed to the smoke from the cannisters that fell on the city this morning?

[Lyra's worried and urgent over the video--she already has an idea of who's sick, being a Pokemon trainer herself.]

Did you have medicine from home to try? I could bring over what's in my bag, maybe I have something you don't?

Yeah... I already tried the berries I have and some Hyper Potions. They didn't do much at all.

[ her eyes almost look desperate when Lyra says her offer. ] Would you really?

Of course! Where are you right now?

[The video recording bounces around--Lyra is already gathering up her bag and running out the door, telling her Lugia not to follow her as she does.]

[Lyra comes running not too long after--she's obviously run the entire way there, but she isn't much worse the wear for it.]

[ ...Well. He's sort of happy Hilda isn't sick, but the fact that this can also affect non-humans is pretty awful. And he knows how much Reshiram means to her, too. ]

I'll tell you if we figure out anything. [ and just in case, although he really hopes this won't happen - ] And come to the hospital if you have any symptoms.

Thanks, O'Brien. I seriously owe you one. [ the smile behind her mask is sad, but it isn't hard to read it in her tone of voice voice. she trusts her friend. ]

I'm fine so far. I don't think I breathed in the gas... If I did, it wasn't a lot.

[ he'd tell her she doesn't, really...but they don't have time to bicker over that kind of thing ]

There's still people getting sick. Just stay on guard.

I will. Make sure everyone stays safe, okay?

[ but that does get her thinking. ] Um... by the way, is there anyone I know that's in the hospital? I haven't been able to make any long trips.

I wouldn't know. [ and this place is starting to have too many people to tell ] Who do you want me too look for?

[ ...he's assuming touya, but still. ]

[ satoshi probably shouldn't even be on this thing, sick as he is, but there's really not much else to do while he's bedridden...

while he clearly looks a bit worse for wear, he smiles reassuringly once his own broadcast begins. ]

Um... I think it's good that you're trying so hard, but you should try to calm down a little. [ cough. ] Everyone's working really hard right now, so I'm sure they'll manage to figure something out.

Is... is one of your friend's sick?

[ she thinks about what he says for a moment, and he's right - panicking isn't going to get her anywhere. so she takes a deep breath and nods. ] Right. I just hope they can find something before anything really bad happens...

Yeah. I've been trying my best to keep it as comfortable as I can, but my healing can only do so much.

I trust them. [ for better or worse. ] I've been in the hospital since yesterday, so I've seen just how hard everyone is working.

[ he pauses, breaking into a hacking cough for a few moments. ] Heh... sorry. Um, what was I saying? Oh, right. It sounds like you really care a lot about your friend... that's probably what helps most right now. Just showing that you care.

[ she nods. ] I have a few friends who work in the hospital and the clinic, and I know they wouldn't back down from helping people out. I trust them too.

[ though it's not visible with her mask on, she frowns. ] I do. I'm just glad I can do something, you know? Even if it's small.

You sound like you've got it rough, too. You should rest.

I've been getting a lot of rest. Don't worry about me, I should be better soon! [ he does his best to muster up another smile, even as... it looks like some blood might be leaking out of the corner of his mouth...

he hastily wipes it aside, looking a bit bashful for a moment before continuing. ] Uh... maybe it'll take a little longer than I thought. But really, things look a lot worse than they are. [ he hopes. ]

[For a moment, Bianca didn't say anything. This was starting to remind of her the event a month ago...the Gods in Asgard just love to hurt people here don't they?]

I'm sure there's something! Reshiram will be fine in no time! We just got to find something! [Or so she hopes because that's all she can do for Hilda.]

I've tried everything - nothing's worked so far. All I can do now is just wait for an antidote. There's people working on one in the hospital.

So...there's nothing we can do?

There's got to be something...right?

My powers aren't doing much, but I think it slows down the spreading of whatever this disease is. As far as I know, that's it.

But that's better than nothing right?

There's got to be a cure soon...I don't want people to die here.
