[It's a peaceful morning, a little cloudy and brisk to match the new season. Autumn is off to a nice start!

That is, until a potentially familiar scaled personage swoops in. Without saying anything or starting any fights, he drops one strange canister each over Thor, Hel, and Freya districts and flies away. As the canisters land, they release clouds of rust-coloured smoke.

And then nothing happens. What could be going on...?]

[ Having just got back from her usual practicing and performing in Freyr with Sinbad the lion, Regina enters her home district (sans big cat) and soon enough stumbles into the vicinity of a recently-opened gas canister.

She sniffs and smells nothing. The vague clouds of reddish smoke only have a faint taste, which she decides reminds her of the burnt caramel apples from the other day.

Skipping up close, Regina knows there's only one thing to do. ]

This'll make a great toy for Sinbad!

[ And she attempts kicking it like a ball before laughing and trying to lug it away as a treat for her lion. HELP. ]

mind if Alexis pokes Regina? she probably wouldn't be in Freya unless she had someone to visit

[Alexis decided that morning that she'd see if she could find Regina, the girl that she'd made the caramel apples with. They had had a great time, and Alexis really wanted to get to know more people close to her age.

So she left her district and went to see if she could find her way to Freya again. She was beginning to get a feel for the city, so it didn't take her too long to reach the other district.

And, as luck would have it, finding Regina wasn't too hard at all. With a friendly smile and wave, Alexis called out:]

Hi Regina!

not at all! this is perfect heh

[circuses]

Oh! Alexis! [ Regina looks up from her attempt to take the canister, and jumps up and down in an excited greeting. ] How are you? Look what I found when I was going back! [ She points through the smoke to her new finding on the ground. ] Neat, isn't it?

[noseveredheads]

I'm fine, how are you? [She grins at Regina's excited jumping. This girl is just plain adorable.]

What is that? [It's hard to see it through the smoke. And that's weird too; she doesn't remember seeing any fires.] It looks like some kind of container.

[circuses]

I'm good! I just got back from performing, actually.

[ She peers at the canister, giving it a little poke. ] But it doesn't contain anything. If it's just trash, I was gonna take it home with me...

[noseveredheads]

You know, I'd like to see you perform someday. When do you think you'll give another performance?

[Alexis looks closer at the canister too. It doesn't look dangerous, but...] I guess if it's empty, it's okay to take. I don't think something like this would belong to anyone, do you?

[circuses]

Usually I do them a few times a week. I have to leave room for practicing, you know! You can see me out in Freya with Sinbad! He doesn't run away or anything.

[ She looks around, slightly unsure. It would be wrong to steal. Then she'd be no better than Money the Monkey. ] It's just junk. But I don't think it's junk. It could be useful in all sorts of ways! [ She smiles widely, thinking fickly of the small number of infinite possibilities. ]

[noseveredheads]

Next time you have one, I'm definitely going to come.

[She looks around too, wondering if it's something someone lost. But there doesn't seem to be anyone rushing to claim it.] It doesn't look like anyone wants it, so... [She shrugs.] I can help you take it back, if you want.

[circuses]

You'd really help me with this? [ Regina seems to sparkle in appreciation. ] Wow, Alexis, you don't have to...but it looks like it would be heavy after a while.

[Arya's heading through the district on her way to the Arena when a large shadow passes over the ground in front of her. She looks up to see what is unmistakably a dragon. A smile spreads over her face; she's reminded of Drogon, and feels a pang run through her as she finds herself missing Dany once again. She wonders if this might be the dragon that Hiccup was looking for.

As she's been looking up at the sky, she doesn't notice the smoke filling the streets around her straight away, but when she does, she gets a very bad feeling. She ducks into the nearest building to try to get away from it, but it's too late, she's already breathed it in.]

[Conan's not the first on the scene. He was walking through Hel to join Peter for his morning sword fighting lesson over at the Citadel when he saw the dragon swoop down. They may have suffered more recent traumas than the fires lit back on Day 28, but Conan's memory of the event is strong enough to keep him frozen in place for a few seconds -- long enough to see the dragon let something fall.

When the expected explosion doesn't eventuate, Conan follows the fall path and the murmur of voices to find a small crowd gathered around a public square. There's a lingering rusty haze in the square, and Conan coughs as he pushes his way through the crowd to see what has been left over.

A cannister? What's going on ... ?]

Has anyone been hurt? Did anyone here see it react on impact? [Or for that matter ... ] Anyone here seen anything like this thing before? [Conan's questions are mostly directed at the NPC citizens, but any travellers present are more than welcome to jump in.]

[ Kotetsu is just leaving the hospital as a large shadow passes overhead and he looks up, shielding his eyes from the sun with one hand while he reaches up to hold his hat to his head with the other. He squints as the Dragon's scales reflect the sun for a moment, before he catches sight of something held in its great claws. ]

What the --

[ His eyes widen as the Dragon suddenly releases its cargo a few blocks away and he watches the 'bomb' drop with a sense of foreboding.
For a moment, he's expecting a blast of some sort, but when it doesn't come, the feeling only seems to bury itself deeper into the pit of his stomach.

As an orange haze starts to appear over the buildings, Kotetsu watches the Dragon soar over the rest of Asgard and squares his jaw. ]

This can't be good.

[It's a pretty non-eventful day and Stiles is just headed to the Arena to deal with both Jackson and his powers when hell breaks loose in the form of some kind of smoke billowing out of a canister.

Oh yeah and there's a dragon. But the canister is a lot more...normal for him so he'll focus on it.

By walking right up to it. Good idea there Stiles. Anyone who wants to comment on his stupidness from afar or just poke at the strange thing along side him are welcome.]
