So I need a volunteer, or a couple of them. [ Volunteers that don't have to all come at once. And if it sounds strange or out of the ordinary to anyone that Quinn's spoken to before she does actually have a reason. She's got a job, and with a job? Money. And with living in some strange city on limited clothes? She needs to go shopping. And with shopping she wants coffee. And to actually spend time with some of the friends she's made, hence this ]

Namely for coffee and shopping, or something else. I'd add film night on but I haven't seen a movie theatre on the map. [ Can they buy DVD's? They will see when they're out, anyway ]

And impending doom of all the talk about war aside, I'd actually like to be a teen first. [ Because she's still that, slightly more independent and freaked out too ] So shopping. Who's in?

We'll just have to make up for that here, then. [ Because Quinn does like her shopping, so lots of opportunities ] We can go now, are you free?

Mhmm, I am!

I'm pretty sure I don't have any plans for today. [pause] Yup, I'm sure of that! Anywhere you want us to meet up?

[And it wasn't long until Bianca marched her way to the pokemon cafe waiting for her new friend, Quinn. As she walks into the store, a thought just came up.

This was the cafe she was talking about right? There could be more than one here so...did she accidentally walk into the wrong place?

Hi, don't mind a Bianca quickly marching right out of the cafe and quickly calling Quinn!]

[ And Quinn, who was just a couple of minutes away, frowned a little when she first saw the call. She's coming, she's coming ] Hey, I'm nearly there.

Oh that's great! But um...

I wanted to ask...it's the Poketopia right? I want to be sure it's the right cafe since we don't miss each other!

Oh, yeah. That's it. [ Had she not mentioned that? Whoops. Quinn had gotten a little carried away in planning and doing that she must have forgotten ] Are you there?

Yea, I am! Haha, I'm sorry, I thought it might have been another cafe!

But I don't mind waiting! You can take your time if you want!

No, it's okay. It's probably good you checked. [ Just in case Bianca had wandered to another cafe ] I'll be there in about... five minutes, I promise.

And I'll be waiting!

[In the meantime, when Quinn gets there, she'll see that Bianca is sitting around one of the tables with her pokemon nearby. Hm...looks like Emboar is pretty hungry...]

[ And the promise is kept as it's only a couple of minutes after the phone call ends that Quinn arrives. It's not hard to spot Bianca, and her pokemon, which... she might be getting used to the smaller ones but this one's a little different. Just a bit.

But she's here for fun. So, with a smile, Quinn grabs her attention before taking one of the seats at the table ] Hey.

Hey, Quinn, you made it!

[Once she turned around to her friend, her pokemon let out a small wave toward her]

Oh right, have you met my pokemon before? His name is Emboar! He may look scary but he's super sweet when you meet him!

I don't think I have. [ And this time, unlike meeting Pikachu, meeting a pokemon wasn't quite so weird (minus the size). She's done it before, and even waves back ] What kind is he? [ Was that right? She was trying to learn, and Bianca had been telling her a lot - she was hoping that some of it was sticking ]

He's a fire and fighting type so that means I got to be careful around water or bug types! Otherwise, I'm not sure what else to do! [And there's a lack of a pokemon center too...]

But I think I can handle that! If I manage to keep him here for this long, then I can keep at it!

[With that, Emboar walked up to Quinn but he did hesitate just a bit. The last time he met people, they were freaking out. So don't mind him nervously handing his hand (claw?) out of her]

Just don't let him go swimming? [ She'd said water types but did that apply to swimming? She's assuming so ]

I think you're great at it. You sound like you know what you're doing. [ And she was impressed - by her and all of the Pokemon guys she'd met

As for Emboar, when she sees him approach, and then hold out a hand, she smiles especially at him. She'd learned a lot since Pikachu, and she didn't feel so strange about it. So Emboar, have a little shake of your hand ] Hey there.

Of course I won't! I won't do that to him, that is just mean to let him swim when he doesn't like that!

[With that, Emboar let out a small sigh of relief. Whew, she's not afraid, that's a first for him! He could give her a hug but...just pats her head.]

I was kidding. [ Sort of. Not kidding but not being serious. She knows that Bianca cares

As for being patted on the head? It makes her laugh a little, that's definitely different ] So what does he like? Or do? Scrap that. What do you do together?

Hm...

When we're together, we just do whatever we want! Like if we wanted to go to the forest and train, we go do that! Or if there's a place we want to go, there's that too! I'm not sure what they don't do together, we just...hang out. [Really, she was so use to being with her pokemon, it feels weird not having them by her side...

It was then that Emboar let out a smirk] What? You don't agree?

...Hmph, I can take care of myself just fine! I don't always trip...some of the time!
