[It takes Bruce awhile to reorient himself. He knows he's been here before, but how he got here again- that's kind of vague. Shouldn't he not have been waking up in that room again? It doesn't make sense. Bruce doesn't really like things that don't make sense. And he's got to come to the bottom of this somehow.

That's the only reason he's willing to do a video post, at all. Force of habit of staying hidden and all that.]

So uh, I thought we were supposed to go through the whole "Welcome to Asgard, enjoy your stay, here are complementary bath towels and magic powers" routine once. Not that I don't, you know, appreciate the refresher course, I'm just wondering how long you have to be gone or what you have to do to merit remedial instruction. It's not like I broke anything…

[Oh boy. Nervous laughter here. Bruce does not look comfortable, and he kind of shifts his weight around, licks his lips, glances away and then back before he continues.]

Is there anybody I could talk to that like, remembers me, or the name Bruce at all, and what went down before I think I mysteriously vanished. I mean, if that's what I did do, that would be…great…to fill in those blanks sometime. 'Cause right now I'm kind of not sure what I missed, obviously, or what happened to my stuff. It wasn't a lot of stuff but it was still my stuff, and I was kind of attached to my spare pants.

From what I understand, the effects that travellers leave behind are stored at the bank and distributed to those they cared about while here. So, I'd talk to those people first.

Though, pants are something you casn get at many places. The place I work at, for example.

No that sounds a little tacky. But they would have been memorable. [And he tries really hard not to be.] Didn't you have a lab, or something, around here, or am I just imagining that you were continuing your quest to be the man of all scientific disciplines including strange...god...magic.

Yeah but I was kind of attached to those pants. I do remember you though. Is there any way to find out who it was distributed to if you are not sure those people are still here?

I'm afraid to say that you don't know quite as much of my wants as you seem to believe.

[Normally Hisao loves it - he's just not been in a great mood the last few days and text is so much easier.]

You can try asking at the bank - it's in Heimdall district. I heard something about it being robbed recently, though, I don't know that your pants would have been victim to that either due to being given away already, or not being something the robbers were after.

What do they look like? It's always possible I might have seen them, or at least if there's something special about them I can suggest a place to get a replacement pair if your old pair isn't able to be claimed?

You mean you remember being here?

[Kate looks confused. This is the first time she's hearing of something like that happening, so you'll have to excuse her.]

If being sent away is supposed to be the punishment for breaking things, then whoever broke the city with the shadowy stuff is probably gonna be gone a long time.

Welcome back. Well...I'm sure you probably don't want to be back but it still happened so why not make the best of it?

[ Well, let's be honest here: pants are a somewhat important part of day-to-day interactions. ]

Nah, they'd suit you. Come on. What'd I tell you? You need to strut. [ And there's a shrug, a wave of his hand. ] And it wasn't so much of a lab as it was a workshop - looks like they saw fit to repo all my stuff anyway. I think I'm gonna have to start from scratch.

[ And a pause. ] But, I can always use an extra pair of hands. What do you say, Dr. Banner? Feel like teaming up for a while? It'll be great. Just like old times. [ That happened like two days ago, but y'know whatever. ]

[Okay, he is not really here to offer a simple "welcome" especially when he has never been given the pleasure to meet this individual. Only the thought he remembers his previous stay was interesting, and warranted him to try and offer his assistance.]

I do apologize for the loss of your items from your previous stay within this realm. Have you checked the bank yet? Perhaps the natives of this world could have placed those items on your account. Although, I do admit it is rather uncommon for your items to disappear without a trace. Both Ririchiyo-sama and my own possesions were not taken from us.

You don't have your stuff?! Then what'd the gods do with it?

Must be a very special pair of trousers.

[ He gets it, bro. He gets it. He's always attached to his clothes. ]

Yeah, you know, I'd had them for awhile, and they just fit perfectly. I have a lot of trouble finding pants that fit, it was a really special- bond, that I had, with my clothes. Yep.

[It's hard, when you're the Incredible Hulk. It's hard to find pants that keep fitting and don't get blown to bits.]

You know, I wish I knew. [And Vyse won't get to see how he glances around nervously around him, as though expecting any minute someone will sneak up on him, but there's an awkward pause in the audio.] Do they have a dump here? Maybe they got thrown out on accident. I mean they weren't the most, uh, obviously valuable of objects.

Yeah, thanks, I guess it's not, uh. Terrible to be back.

[Actually it kind of sucks. Bruce has not been one for large cities, particularly when there's nowhere to really go. Even without the constant threat of hulking out, because that side of him is repressed or removed- however that might be- it's still an uncomfortably close and crowded situation for someone who spent years trying to avoid people and avoid easily destroyed urban centers.]

I guess that's possible. But I have a new room, that I didn't have previously, and a new roommate and everything, so if everything got left behind in the old one maybe housekeeping decided it was junk? ...if we get housekeeping.

[He barely even notices the pause, still trying to figure out just what the gods would want with a guy's spare set of pants... He huffs out a breath.]

I don't know about any dumps. But when you left, someone's got to have moved into your room, right? Do you think your things were still there then?

That's easy for you to say. You actually have stuff that's worth strutting about. I'm not sure a pair of purple pants, no matter how great they might be, are really worthy of that kind of ego.

[It's true. Nobody needs to see what happens to Bruce's pants when he stops being the Hulk, that's just awkward for everything.]

Yeah the old times were actually less great and more extremely stressful and also kind of dangerous? But sure, I wouldn't mind working again together. It was one of the brighter points.
