Pick your moment. I don't mean choosing the most romantic time, but judging that the person you like is ready to hear you.

I set up the ideal moment. Romantic dinner, elegant location, just the two of us but it fell through and I ended up confessing in the heat of a moment. She was -- confused, since it was the first time I'd talked about my feelings with her so ... it was hard for her to take. I think it's better to hint of your feelings first, test to see if they're reciprocated before going further.

I think that they are. She and I seem to have established, an unofficial relationship of that nature. I just don't think she realizes that, that is what we have?
This is the first time that I think. I have figured out my feelings towards someone, and I just hope that it doesn't go the way that it did, when other people confessed to me. Which was, awkward and unpleasant.

I think that, I am aware of those things. Except, for the third thing. Which, did not work for my last confession.

If she doesn't realise, you're going to want to lead into the subject gently. Probably better to do without flowers and dinners and stick to the basics -- how you feel, why you think you should date.

Then you should write her a book telling her how you feel! If you can't write, you could slip a note into her favorite book as a surprise for when she opens it. But you need to have a way to make sure she gets the book and not anybody else if you do that.

Okay. So then, this brings me to my next question.
What exactly do you do, on a date?

Well, there's a possibility they don't feel the same. I get that plenty. You tried just... I don't know, asking them out on a date? There's a park, you could ask for a picnic.

You don't tell someone you like them, you show them.
