006 - Video
[Samantha is seated behind the counter of her shop. It looks considerably cleaner than it did the first time she put up footage of the place. Rows of herbs, cured and dried, can be seen in a variety of containers behind her. There's an old-fashioned cash register immediately to her left and clusters of garlic heads hang down behind her, along with some cured and dried leaves. There's a bottle of something to her right that has a label unreadable at this angle.
She doesn't seem to be paying direct attention to the network at first. She's fussing with what looks like a cigarette that she's rolling the old-fashioned way. It's particularly dark in color, and only about half of the leaves look like they're tobacco. A lick and the paper sticks into place. She gives it a tap and turns her attention to the network while lighting up. There's a trail of dark smoke that comes from her lips as she speaks.]
There's a few of you I still need to send personal apologies to for the other day. If you want to chat, give me a call. With two exceptions, [who she never expected to hear from again] I've spoken with everyone from the first incident. Otherwise, I will reach out to you and apologize properly in the next few days. This is never a very comfortable subject for obvious reasons. Ms. Hyde's a real bitch.
It's about my "other half" that I'm speaking to you as a city directly, Asgard. I'll answer questions if you're unaware, but I and at least one other person I've spoken to have gotten the idea we 'might' know when and how this is happening. It looks like my temporary bouts insanity, at least the part that's biological and not mystical in nature (The mystical, thank god, being out of the picture in this place), is fixed on a lunar cycle. Both of the last two times I went nuts, it was the new moon. This means that I expect it to happen again at around the same time. [she counted her fingers for a second.] That would be about... twenty five or twenty six days, roughly, from now.
I'm sick of apologizing, and I'm even more sick of hurting people when I go on a psychotic bender for a day. I've already got one person who's offered to help make sure I don't get loose, and she can take a hit, but I don't trust this place. The day before, I need to be locked up, and preferably shackled somewhere, probably around sunset and for about twenty-four to thirty hours to make sure I don't cause trouble. If any of you knows someone or is willing to help make sure that happens so that I'm not a danger to people, get in touch with me. One of the keys here, though, is trust. If I don't know you, or trust you, I'm not going to accept your help easily. I've... been fooled by one person here already who's gone, and I won't risk this getting botched if at all possible or getting abused in the process.
