Consider for a moment as you examine the video that Rose is currently surrounded by piles of books, many of which seem to contain the same theme: psychology.))

So it's called retrograde amnesia...

((For a while it stays like this, Rose lain out on the floor and looking upward. Sure the events upon her arrival have her somewhat uneasy. So many people recalled her and she couldn't remember a single one of them. It bothered her. She couldn't really handle the response she got from so many, unable to return some semblance of whoever she used to be. It made her feel... well... in adequate.

The video swirls. She figures it's time to check the network again, but when the video focuses on her face, she smirks.))

Looks like I'm busted.

Hello, everyone. Seems like now is a good time to finally make my lavish introduction to the network.
I suppose I could try to keep this as brief as possible given the fact that there's usually quite a litany of messages going here and there throughout the network, I wouldn't want to spam the network any further with unnecessary walls of text, otherwise referred to as a TL;DR that I'm sure none of you really want. However, I think I'm in the situation to be somewhat forgiven on the matter, seeing as I've accidentally made my situation notably more extravagant than I ever needed or wanted it to be.
I'll try to cut to the chase.
My name is Rose Lalonde and I'm somewhat new to the place. I figured it wasn't prudent that I make a network post as soon as I arrived given the fact that it seemed there were others who needed more explanations than I did upon arrival, seeing as I had the pleasure of meeting some old friends who explained most of it.
I also say "somewhat new" seeing as this isn't my first time visiting Asgard. I can't say I remember any of my previous, so if you recognize me or know my name, I wouldn't mind a little shout out. I'd love to know the tales of my previous excursions in this Nordic God wonderland.
Anyway, I'm at Odin's house, though if you're ever really trying to find me, you might have to do a little running around since I'm not there too often.

And since I have you all on the horn, I might as well ask,
Does anyone know how I might go about getting a job?

Each district has a place to work. All you have to do is talk to the owners.
Or if you want to work for other travelers, you have to talk to them directly.

Yes, and I believe them. But you're right that the likelihood that it's not the typical form of amnesia, but it doesn't matter. Drug induced, magic induced, injury, trauma, or otherwise, restoring lost memories is nearly impossible, and the actual process of it seems completely random.

I mean, if it were magic induced, I might have had the power once to reverse it, but I don't now so like that will help.

In short, there's nothing I can do. ((and it pisses her off, but she's much more polite than that.))

I don't mind Sollux's honesty; besides, the way things look, I would have found out eventually. ((There's a couple now who've told her. It's disturbing, but impossible for her to imagine.)) It's unfortunate that it occurred, but that's about all I could think on the matter...

And I'm settling in well enough, and I believe you're right about them. My warm welcome to Asgard has been fortuitous.
