[This is the worst thing that could have happened. Waking up and finding her charge missing, just vanished without so much as a note.]

[Kinda wished he hadn't said anything, actually. He knows how much this sucks...]

That sucks.

Have you tried to get in contact with her recently via bracelet?

[...The more replies she gets, the more it appears to be a lost cause.]

[He had a feeling this person was important to her. However, it was difficult to determine if they were from the same world, so he can't help wonder...]
Is this Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie-san a person from your homeworld, by any chance? I do hope I am not out of line by asking this question to you.
text;
That's correct. She is from the same world as I.
[She doesn't want his condolences. "Sorry for her loss"...he acts as if Mary is dead.]
text;
[He would apologize for having made it seem as so. Soushi is just terrible at these sort of situations.]
text;
[She's just an assignment. Someone she must watch over and protect, but only because she had been ordered to. Her personal feelings for the girl are closer to begrudging trust and disdain.]
text;
[Ah. Is she a bodyguard of sorts then?]

[Although, not so much "watch over", so much as just watching her.]

[
Soushi, you are not playing twenty questions!]text;
However, I was appointed unofficially. My master ordered me to watch her.
text;
[At least, that is how he views it.]
Anyhow, from the way you have been expressing yourself, I had an assumption that you were either part of the military or a bodyguard. It is a pleasure to meet another fellow bodyguard from a different world.
text;
[She could correct him, to explain that her master isn't Mary, but she doesn't see a point in it.]
text;
[In other words, he is beginning to feel a bit of envy towards the other bodyguard's skills now. It is a shame his household would never allow their lucky charm to be part of the military of sorts.]
Were you part of the military before becomming a bodyguard? Or did your master require you to join the military?
text;
However, I was serving my master since before I entered.

Perhaps she was sent home.
