1 - Voice
[ The bracelet clicks on mid-sentence without Simon knowing, based on how muffled his voice is as he speaks. His tone is hurried and clearly panicked as he takes in his very new and very unfamiliar surroundings. ]
-- What... What planet is this?
[ He suddenly seems to realize that he's being recorded and there's some crackling as he moves the bracelet around his wrist, examining it, before he seems to address his audience directly for the first time. His voice is much more controlled than before, the panic somewhat contained as his tone takes on a more serious, business-like quality. ]
Um. Hello? Hello? Can... Can anyone... hear me? [ Then, more to himself: ] I'm. I'm talking to a bracelet. This-- This must be what going mad feels like.
[ And back to the audience. ]
If-- If anyone can hear me out there, I'm-- I'm looking for my sister. River. She's, um. She's seventeen years old, about 5'6" with, ah, with long brown hair. If anyone has seen her or heard from her, could you... tell me where she is? Please? She's a-- she's a very sick young girl.
I, um-- Thank you. For your assistance.
[ And, with that, the transmission ends. ]

audio;
You are looking for someone, messere?
[Hello, Simon! Hope a sudden Italian accent doesn't startle you much.]
audio;
Oh, um. Yes. My-- My sister. River.
Video
[The Red-head tilts her hair so that her horns are clearly visible, giving the camera feed a bit of a needlessly over-dramatic look with her blood red eyes.]
Nope, you haven't even started down the rabbit hole yet, brother.
Video
I... haven't?
[ Honestly? It's much better (read: politer) than the other question he has going around his head which is: why does she have horns? ]
Video
[Heh, she was showing him the horns to illustrate the point.]
But that doesn't matter as much. You mentioned a River. I don't think I've seen her yet, but these bastards have a habit of abducting kids to fight their wars, so... keep your eyes peeled. People will ask around.

[All said with a pleasant smile. He could not help wish to answer his messages because it really did catch his attention. A rare occurance, at times.]
Does your sister have a last name of sorts? I do not believe I recognize her name, but you might be able to find out her wherabouts if you check the list of names located on your bracelet. Would you like for me to check if she is indeed listed for you?
video;
... Tam. Her last name, it's-- it's Tam. River Tam. Could you, ah, check for me? Please?
video;
Certainly. Please, give me a moment to check the list.
[He will literally leave him on hold. At least, for a few moments as he checks the list. Hmm. He can only find one Tam, and it was not a woman's name. Quickly, he will return to him.]
Excuse me. By any chance, is your name Simon Tam? [The other individual never told him his name, so he is purely assuming.]

[Oh please, just let her still be here.]
video
Yes, that's-- that's her. Do you know... is she still here? Is she alright?
video
[It may be cruel to make him do it, but she's too weak to deliver bad news right now. She's not even sure she'll be able to handle his reaction if it turns out she has left. He's so obviously devoted to her.]

I, um, I remember reading something once about Asgard and the, ah, the deities that supposedly lived there. But it was... fiction, right? Stories passed down from generation to generation?

Not just a bracelet, a fully functional communication device. This thing even has a video feature, by the way.
[He smiles.]
Sorry to say that I don't think I've seen your sister, though there are a lot of young women here who fit that description. There was a girl who used to be here called River though...
video;
[ And then he really looks at the face smiling back at him and he's startled to see that he recognizes it. It's the captain, but the longer he looks at him, the less sure he becomes. The face is older and the clothes he's wearing are very, very different.
He realizes that he's been staring quite awhile now and that he should probably say something. What he does say, comes out in the most confused, unsure voice known to man, probably. ]
... Captain... Reynolds?

It's Asgard. Not sure if it's a planet or something else.
You should be able to check on the bracelet if she's here. There's supposed to be a list visible on the... main... menu... thingy. If she's not there, she shouldn't be here.

This place is called Asgard.
[He really wants to ask about Simon's world, since his curiosity has been piqued. Indulge him, if you will.]
Your world has space travel too?

[ ᴠıᴅᴇᴏ ]
Huh. Well it sounds familiar? But I— Oh. Right! River Tam won the spelling bee at the olympics a few weeks back. [ Whether she's still around is another story entirely.
...aaand it's a story Rapunzel has no interest in pursuing. ] Unless she's blind or deaf, your sister should be all right. Illnesses don't carry over into "the Eventide".
[ ᴠıᴅᴇᴏ ]
Oh? [ That piques his interests. ] What about... mental instability? [ Because just in case River does show up again, he wants to be prepared. ]
