[When the video comes on, Kate is sitting at a desk. She's back at the Forensics Unit at the Hospital, and it doesn't look like she's slept. Which is true, she hasn't. She sent everyone else on the team home a while ago, all but ordering them to get sleep because this robbery - these murders - they've been stumping all of them.]

I don't know if anyone is aware, but the Bank of Dvalin in the Heimdall District was robbed yesterday. Three of the bank employees were killed during the robbery, and as of now we have no suspects.

I'd like to ask that if anyone has any information, please contact me or anyone else here at the Forensics Unit. We're also looking for volunteers to help assist the investigation. Again, get in touch with me if you'd like to help.

[She runs a hand through her hair, looking off to the side before looking back to the feed. It feels wrong, doing this over the whole network, but she's getting a little desperate.]

... Seriously? [ there's an annoyed groan. ] First we have that entire mess, and now some idiots decided to rob a bank and actually kill people during it?! That's just.. just wrong!

You can't really schedule out crimes like this. And after that whole mess, it makes sense there'd be some follow-up crimes. Trying to keep themselves covered in the chaos.

[ she's been sort of busy being emotional over a friend dying during the darkness thing, sob.. but whenever justice calls she's here, at least. ]

But that's just low and dirty, I can't believe some people in this place are actually that much of a criminal! What were they thinking?!

[It's okay, Kate been having a pretty hard time too.]

There's no telling, and we don't have enough info to try and figure out their motives, yet.

There's got to be at least some way to figure it all out though, right? We can't just let them get away with something like this..!

[ .. oh, she can't exactly stay upset at that smile, so.. she - awkwardly, but genuinely - smiles a little in return. ]

Yes. [That confidence right there has been learned. She knows herself, and how she works, enough to know that no matter how long it takes, she will figure it out.

[Kate's first instinct is to be fairly annoyed, suspicious even. But not that long ago Conan had told her there were some...individuals that could consult with the Unit. She's going to assume this is one of them.]

Uh... [Cough.] Most of the evidence was sampled and taken back to the lab at the hospital for testing.

[Uhh...three feet? What?]

[ for once he's grateful of conan's praise to natter about the needless. he's in the middle of getting ready, getting geared up - (getting off a high perhaps) - so the bracelet is set to speaker and there's a constant shuffle of movement. ]

Did you move anything? Touch anything? My methods do not work well if things are tainted.

No. I haven't heard from him in a while and he won't respond to any of my messages. [Her tone sounds more annoyed, but that's mostly because she's trying to hide the worry.

But hey, nice change of conversation. It works for her.]

Oh no, no, don't worry. I've been...pretty preoccupied recently. I'm sorry I haven't noticed. [She smiles.] It was fun being your roommate, Nakama. I hope you have a good time in Sigyn.

It's hard to imagine him losing his bracelet, but if he's still on the list, that's what it sounds like to me. I can't be too mad about it when he gets back, because I did the same thing, and look where it got me.

[If Kate saw that. If she didn't... well, let's just hope that she lets that remark pass.]

Thank you. [A small smile in return.] You'll get a good new roommate, the people in Heimdall are usually good people. And it's just as well that I'm gone... I've been getting a bit - noisy in the evenings. [The dark shadows under her eyes suggest what she might be alluding to.]

I've worked a lot of different cases and mysteries. Usually I specialise in things spacey-wacey, alien, but they do involve crimes. Shouldn't be too difficult.

[Kate's not too sure about this, but at the same time...she can't really say no.]
