[ the feed flicks on. asami's trying her best to appear as composed as she possibly can. ] ...It's good to be back home again.

[ she pauses for a bit. it's unsettling how she's gotten used to referring to her room here as 'home.' ] I hope everyone else has gotten back safely, too.

I mean to ask for help, though. I lost contact with a lot of my friends in the past few days. At first I thought my bracelet might be faulty, because it didn't seem like I could reach anyone for a while. I see now that a lot of people have been accounted for, thankfully.

Has anyone heard from Mako, though? Or Bolin?

Ah ... well, if you're sure, when did you notice that Mako was missing? Have you been able to work out when he disappeared? And what sort of a person is he?

...I noticed that I couldn't reach him a few hours into that whole thing. I figured that my communicator must be down, because I hadn't been able to reach his brother, either.

...Well. He cares. A lot, which is why I've been so worried. Someone like Mako wouldn't just disappear without warning like that, unless something really bad had happened.

Well, he's very athletic, but he didn't have his firebending here. His power here was Charm.

[she raises an eyebrow.] Are you a detective?

[ at this, asami smiles. ] Well, the questions you've been asking certainly point in that direction, though I can't blame everyone else for not putting it together. You're pretty young, after all.

But a lot of people disappeared during the Darkness. I'm wondering if it's really coincidence.
