[Arya has been fiddling with the bracelet, looking at all its settings, even trying to pry it apart, but with no success. As she addresses the network now, she looks a little frustrated, to say the least.]

There's a way, isn't there, of hiding your name from the network? There has to be. She wouldn't just leave, she wouldn't. She was going to free us, she told me so.

[She starts fiddling with the bracelet again, inadvertantly switching off the feed as she does so.]


[A couple of hours later, she's back. She looks tired and angry, but speaks in a much calmer tone than she did earlier, like she's given up.]

For those who knew her, the Khaleesi - Daenerys Targaryen - has left. Drogon, too.



[OOC: sorry I've been so inactive since I got back, hopefully this will kickstart my motivation.]

You'll have to wait your turn in order to be sent home, and there's no way of removing yourself from the list. [He would've found it by now if there was. However, that message may seem a little off considering his own label is "???" rather than an actual name.]

So they just randomly send us home without warning, just like they brought us here? [She can feel her anger rising again, but at least it has a direction now.]

A little over two months now.

[Well, at least it wasn't just Daenerys that had left. That softened the blow a little, made her not feel like this had been done to her personally.]

I wish I could have gone with her.

I... am sorry to hear that, Arya. You have been well lately, yes?

[Samantha sounded distant, uncomfortable, but unharmed. She'd gotten healing and a little rest. From the looks of things, she almost appeared to be a clean, but abandoned building. There was a broom in her hands and a few sacks full of something behind her.

The look on her face, however, said her real attention was on the young girl right then. She wasn't entirely sure it was good to be speaking to her right then, but she'd gotten a bit of a stubborn streak where Arya was concerned.]

She seemed like a nice girl when I met her. You won't be trapped here forever, and for what it's worth, I'm still around.

[Arya smiles in relief, so happy to see Samantha. She'd not heard from her while the darkness had plagued the city, and had feared the worst.]

I'm all right. How are you? I was worried about you.

[She looks off, sighs.] People just come and go around here so quickly. It's not fair. Why did she have to be taken away, of all people?

I'm a survivor by nature. I usually work alone, so it's not surprising you didn't hear from me much while the crap was happening. I spent a lot of time hunkered in some very dark corridors with just enough light in case something came for me. I took some nastier wounds right at the end, but there were a few people who helped out.

I don't know. I still don't really know why they risked bringing me here in the first place. I don't know why some leave. All I know is that while I'm stuck here, I might as well stay there for people I care about.

[She wasn't sure what she could do, besides feel hurt at the loss of someone she'd looked up to so much. But it was the gods, just like it always was, exerting their power for no reason than they could, taking away someone who had told Arya that she could liberate the city from them. And Arya felt resolve build in her. She was no leader like the Khaleesi had been, but she would do all she was capable of.]

Whatever I have to. I can't stay here any more, I need to go back to Westeros. And if that means I have to kill a god, then that's what I'll do.

Then help free this city. Half of acting is having the belief and faith that one's actions will come true.

Yes. [It was strange of her to think of Daenerys as a friend, but it was the easiest explanation to give, really.] I thought that if she was here, if we went back together... [She trails off.]

If certain people from my world show up here, I know I'd want to hide my name. I'm sure the Khaleesi had enemies, too.

Does that mean you're a runaway? And who's a Khaleesi?

You were friends? [He was ...close to friends; maybe friendly acquaintances would be the best word - with Dani, and he's met Arya before, so he feels familiar enough to ask the question.]

[It was strange thinking of her as a friend, but she knew that was definitely how she felt about Dany, even if the Khaleesi had not felt the same way about a Stark girl, despite the kindnesses she'd shown her.] Yes. Did you know her? [She hates this, hates talking about her like she's dead and gone and she'll never see her again.]

Yes.

We were... friendly acquaintances, at least. I'm not sure what she would have said about me. [he shrugs slightly, only his shoulders moving while his pale face behind the sunglasses remains perfectly bland.]

It is good that her child left with her.
