[Greetings, Asgard! Today we have yet another video feed of Sonic. Those who haven't seen him around may be shocked to find a talking, blue creature using the network. He's certainly gotten quite a few stares since he arrived, and that's probably part of the reason why he looks a little bit miffed.

But no matter!]

Yo, Asgard. Got some mondo important stuff to take care of, so listen up!

First of all, I've noticed that some of you guys have never heard of chili dogs before. You guys are totally missing out! So, just to make things clear...

[He turns the camera towards an old photo, pointing at the little dog.]

This is a dog! And this... [He points the camera at a chili dog on a plate, which he's got on a nearby table. After a few seconds, it's back to him.]

Is a chili dog! No, they aren't made outta dog meat, and no, they're not gross. Heck, they're like the complete opposite of gross! Want proof? Drop by Thor house ASAP, 'cause I'm cookin' up a whole ton. No charge; it's all on me. Could even turn it into a party or somethin'.

[He shrugs. Sonic still wants to throw some kinda party, just to have something to do. Go figure.]

And before I go, I just wanna clear up one last thing. [He points at himself.] I'm not a "thing," a "CG character," a mascot, or anything like that. I'm the coolest hedgehog around-- probably the only one here, and talking's second nature to me, just like running. So if you see me cruisin' around the ol' streets, no, you ain't seeing things.

[Ack! Sonic's eyes widen, and he quickly shakes his head.]

No way! How could anybody eat dog? Especially me.

[It'd just be wrong, when he used to have a pet.]

Chili dog's just a name. The meat's totally different.

[He looks at the chili dog for a split second, scratches his head, and then shakes his head.]

Is grass green? Is the sky blue? 'Course it's not dog meat! Usually they use pork or beef to make 'em.

[Which is kinda disturbing given that Mobian pigs sell them.]

Ah, I mean in general! Since you kind of brought it up.

... That chili dog thing looks good, though!

Well, I guess it's possible, but it'd be mondo creepy. Dogs are pets, not food! Not to mention the talkin' dogs and wolves hangin' around.

[But he's getting a little off track, isn't he? Right!]

But a chili dog's more than just good! It's to die for! Totally the best food on all of Mobius.

[Disregarding the fact that she's talking to a hedgehog. That's not important. However!]

Wait, you're calling explaining what a kind of food is "mondo important?" Ugh, you've gotta be kidding me.

Hey, chili dogs are totally important. I'm just tryin' to educate everybody.

[So, yes. Chili dogs are important to Sonic.]

Exactly! If there are any people here who think that way they're getting their asses kicked.

[BUT. Yeah. FOOD. :9]

What are they made out of?

They make the sausages usin' livestock. We wouldn't start offing other Mobians just to get a bite to eat.

[Said mainly because there are sapient pigs around. Yep.]

[Unfortunately it's what she does.]

[...except one might argue that people are a form of "things". Living, thinking things, but things all the same. The same can be said for Mobians, really.]

So goats, then? And I guess cows, if you actually eat those.... [She knows humans eat them, at least.]

[ HE MIGHT TOTALLY BE LICKING HIS LIPS, those chili dogs look delicious... ]

It takes him a moment to ransack the Hel cupboards for something suitable to bring, but eventually you will have one tiny freeloader, bearing a few packets of biscuits, knocking at the door of the Thor welcome hall.]

Mostly beef and pork.

[Though that does hit the weird grey area where pigs... sell chili dogs? But they're not made from Mobians particularly...]

Ponies, hedgehogs, trolls... Heck, for all we know there could be some guy in a chicken suit!

[Random attempt at humor. Buuuut onto the more important things! Like chili dogs.]

Anyway, drop by whenever. I'll be hangin' out for a while.

[Okay, maybe he did go a little bit overboard. Sonic gives the camera a sheepish smile that quickly turns into a grin.]

That's what they're here for.

[And Sonic'll scurry right over, opening the door with one hand and carrying a chili dog in the other.]

Go ahead! The 'dogs are still steamin' hot.

[... huh. The hedgehog is shorter in person.]
