[The questions Kyo has currently asked over the network has gotten his attention. A feat which is rare to catch from him because he wasn't one to talk to others about his personal life. Memories. The topic alone was hitting him a little close to home especially nowadays where specific memories from his past have been popping up to the people he wished would have never known. At least, not from a third party.

Right now, he was currently deciding on the best course of action to take. He wanted to answer the other, but the idea of him knowing his identity was nerve wrecking. If he did not fully trust Ririchiyo with most of the memories before meeting her, then Kyo did not have a good chance. But there was something about this text that caught his attention.

The way it sounded. It did not sound like how the other normally would sound. It was clear that Soushi might be worried over the other, so if he spoke to him in anon form, then it would be hard to have a serious conversation with him. Soushi might not know Kyo well, but he did feel some sort of concern for him. What was this feeling? He did not recognize it.]

Memories. They're very precious to me, as well. All of them are. They are the foundations in what makes us who we are today. No matter in what world or realm we might be in, they are still precious.

...you're correct about that fact. Once we return to our worlds, we won't have any memories of our time here. We will continue our daily lives....until you return. And even then, some do not return with the memories of their previous visit in Asgard neither.

[A beat as he thinks of final words to add as a way to prove that he meant every word. And maybe as a way to show that he can sympathize with the boy. They did have a rocky relationship, didn't they?]

So there's no way to, I don't know, remember? Nothing? Then what's the point of us being here if that's the case. I hate it. I hate THAT. They've taken so much from us, why that?

They're really important! Because those memories are something we own, right?? I wouldn't like it if anyone took something of mine away without asking.

i don't know.
i'm more interested in making memories than dwelling on them.
nothing would get done that way
and nothing about me would change.
even if i don't remember the experiences here
it's not as if i'll care once i'm gone
so while i'm here
it's more important to me that i make as many memories as i can
so that i may cherish them while i'm able to.

We lose all memory of Asgard? Truly?

[The look on his face and the tone of his voice both tell the tale of someone who's rather certain he doesn't like it. In fact he's pretty sure he even hates that.]

I suppose the importance of memories depends on whether you consider your personality to be a core and stable trait that remains more or less the same over the span of your lifetime, or whether it's something fluid that changes depending on your situation and the people you happen to be interacting with at the time. Which do you believe, I wonder?

As for losing memories of Asgard when we're sent back; admittedly it seems like a waste in some respects. There's little point in gaining new experiences or evolving personally if the slate's just gonna be wiped clean again, don't you think?

i think memories are pretty important, and hey if you don't remember when you go back at least you still have them while you're here. do what you can with what you got.

They kidnap us, drag us out here to fight for their cause, and then send us back with nothing to show for it?

Apparently time doesn't move back home either. Everyone would think we'd gone crazy if we tried to tell them anything...

[Somehow, it doesn't make him feel any better that there may be a reason behind the Gods' actions...He never asked to be brought here, he never had the option of going home, and lately? That alone has been hitting him hard. When you factor in all of the horrible things they've caused, all of the pain that he and his friends have to had to go through since coming here...he's really in no mood to give any of them the benefit of the doubt.]

I hope not i learned so much here and made so many friends. I dont want to forget them all!
