[Hinata seems less than entertained as he looks into the feed, visibly a little ragged.]

This again? I don't even remember getting hurt this time.

[He strains to remember if he was doing anything reckless or death-inducing before being transported to Asgard, failing to recall anything notable, he pouts a little, looking off to the side.]

...Does this mean I can die? Like... permanently?

[He briefly considers asking a mean-looking girl to kick him off a roof to test the theory, but if he's been reincarnated or something, he probably shouldn't risk it. Actual death isn't any fun. Well... neither is immortal death, it still hurts, but at least you wake up!]

Well... if anybody recognizes this... [He shows off the patch on the shoulder of his uniform jacket.]

...I want to talk to you! ...unless your name is Noda... or Yui... or...

[He trails off.]

Have... have I been obliterated!? [Suddenly PANIC. Then the feed goes dark.]

Obliterated is a harsh term, can't we say disappear?

Great! So where do we respawn when we die? [God damn why is he so weird.]

It used to be an infirmary at school, is there something like that here? I should find it so I know how to get home from it! [He's taking this whole 'it's impossible for you to die' thing pretty well.]

Yurippe makes me wear it! [He takes orders from a girl? Of course he does. She's not even his girlfriend, that's how sad and weird he is.]

With this we can tell the real people from the NPCs. [This all makes perfect sense to him.]

[He totally cuts her off while she's staring at it.] Do you recognize it!? [Her next words reveal that she doesn't seem to know what it is.]

[He gasps, his eyes going wide.] Maybe.... maybe we beat the boss and this is the next level!!! [There is no need for him to be SO EXCITED, but there it is.]

What boss..? [ One of these boys rotted their brains out with sugar and videogames... ]

Weren't we just... serving up food? [ He rubs the back of his neck. All of this was like whiplash, so maybe that had been a dream? Maybe the fishing trip was the last boss? What?! ]

I don't think this is a video game, and if it was, the level design is terrible.

I'm not even sure if this isn't still hypnotism.

You don't suppose... [He gasps again, way too over-excited by this. His spirits definitely perked up when he realized Otonashi was here.] Operation Monster Stream! We beat the boss!! That means everyone else is here too!

Sure it's a game! [He points the camera out into the Freya district, showing a few grey people milling about.] See? NPCs! [He points the camera back at himself, pointing to his own face.] Protagonist!

Yeah! That weird maid said that only the people with the bracelets are real, right? [He was paraphrasing, obviously. Hopefully the person on the other end of the feed followed his train of thought.]

Soooo... Anyone without one is an NPC!

[...UH NO LUCAS NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THAT BUT UM- MAYBE?]

I guess that might make sense... but I've never heard of them referred to as an NPC before.

Wouldn't Angel be the boss? Or... wouldn't she. There was that other Angel...

[ He leans in to look at the NPCs in Hinata's area, though he has already seen quite a few of them himself. ]

... I think Naoi broke me. That has to be it.

[ Tokage's name isn't Noda or Yui, after all. ]

But what if the Master of the River was really the boss? What if he was older than Angel! Maybe he was God the whole time. [You really haven't got any brains at all, have you, Hinata?]

If it was Naoi, wouldn't you be having sex with him and not going to the next awesome level? He wouldn't let me be here if it was him, anyway.

[He suddenly looks defensive.] ...He'd better not show up.

Doesn't it make sense? They're always a part of the environment, they came with the level, but you and me (I think) came from somewhere else, right?

If the Master of the River was the boss, then Angel would be here, because she's the one who actually beat him.

[ 'Tis a good thing indeed that Yuzuru speaks gamer at all, otherwise communication might be impossible. Everything seemed to proceed as usual, until Hinata had to go mention Naoi and sex in the same sentence. ]
