How anyone thinks... transporting or switching someone's mind and placing it into another body is humorous is beyond me.

It makes me wonder -- what is truly defined as normal in this world? Perhaps someone can humor me with an actual answer.

It's funny if you're a sadistic jackass who likes to torment people and watch them wriggle. The sorts of people that you see with magnifying glasses, burning ants on the sidewalk and giggling, that's the emotion you're experiencing. Only, you're the ant.

[She grunted. She was sitting with her back to what looked like a tree, looking out into the park. She had a sour look on her face as she continued, shrugging.]

I've only been here a month. I can't tell what's normal here, other than that we're apparently here to fight a war by being the personal playthings of some real assholes for gods. So normal usually is people trying to pretend they have every day lives, jobs, making friends with strangers and going about daily business until random crap gets thrown at them.

I've been here longer than a month, most likely two months. And every so often, I have to wonder what is normal. Or does it even exist anywhere.

I honestly lost track of what was normal long before I ever got here, a good two or three years ago. This place is just one more chapter in a very strange, surreal and horrible story. I don't know how much 'normal' is really worth getting. Stability and happiness are just as good, if you ask me.

After all, what if normal's like something out of a horror story? Do you really want normal then?

I wouldn't know what "normal" really is or if it even exists.

But then nothing lasts forever, not even stability and happiness. There is always a new chapter and another page.

There will be no answer as to what's normal. You've got a world full of people who are from different places, with different experiences, pasts and histories. No two places work in the same way.

But would it be like that without those gods?

Their influence and curses are certainly a factor, but I doubt a big one. People will still have opinions and disagreements on things, based on what they know.

Such is the case with people as a whole. If all the magic and nonsense is is stripped away, what does this place become? It will be like any other city.

Which world do you speak of? Asgard, or the one we call home?

Then I believe the answer is flexible. The concept of normality here seems to bend day to day.

Clearly, you haven't been here long, then. You ought to know by now what constitutes "normal" here.

Is it too much to ask a question? I doubt that you would know that word, regardless if you were in Asgard or not.

It might exist to us but I doubt our normal is the same as normal for the gods. [ Or even some people here ]
