ninth minute [backdated to Day 119]
[Hey, hey Asgard. Like sleeping in peace without a sound to bother you? Hate it when somebody rudely awakes you by screaming at the top of their lungs? Well, too bad! Because that is exactly what you are getting. So far, there is no one on screen- there is just the sound of somebody sounding utterly terrified.]
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-
[And it continues like that for some time, until said person screaming almost forgets to take a breath and proceeds to cough and hack. Finally, the person himself stumbles on screen, grasping at his eyes with a very pained expression.]
Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Where-where are my eyes? My gears? And...and everything is really squishy and soft too...
[A disgusted sound and a shudder.]
Everything is just so quiet, too! It's really disconcerting. I should be able to hear them ticking, but they're not there, and...oh my dear Lord, this shouldn't be happening. How do I even live like this?
[He manages to detach one hand from his face to pull a chair next to him for sitting on as he stares wearingly into the camera with a bright green eye.]
Also...gosh, blinking is weird when you haven't done it for hundreds of years. How do you humans even manage it? It's like you don't see half the things around you because your eyelid is just flapping up and down and you can't do a thing about it!
I mean...no offense to humans or anything. You're all really wonderful and stuff, but I-I don't think I could possibly live as one of you.
[A sigh.]
Not ever.
[ooc: Have a bodyswapped Cheriour, who is currently hanging out in Ernest's body (A note: Ernest is deaf, so Cheriour actually won't be able to hear anything your character says.). Replies will be made with

[Cheriour just stares for a while, because while he knows something has been said, he can't actually hear it. Welp.]
Um. Say that again? I think something is wrong with my bracelet, I can't hear a thing...

Shut...up? Hey, I'm-I'm sorry! I was just startled by everything, I'm sorry if that bothered you. But telling someone to shut up isn't nice.
And why is the sound on this thing gone...?

Miss, please speak slower, I can't read what you're sayng that fast! And once again, I'm sorry, but attacking me is not the way to go!
text;
You woke me up with your damn screaming. I don't care if I'm not nice.
Oh. Well, um, it's always good to be nice, no matter what. But I do sincerely apologize, I was just taken aback by it all.
text
Accepted.
And I'm glad! Oh, I'm rather rude not to intriduce myself, I'm Cheriour! And I'm usually not like this at all. Appearance wise, I mean.
text
I'm Tokage.
Why didn't you know you couldn't hear when you couldn't hear yourself talking?
video
[Wait, what? He's been saying exactly what he's thinking. Plus, he's never really heard much of his voice when he was in his own body, what with all the ticking and movement of gears in his head before. And now he just stares because OH MY GOD SHE'S RIGHT.]
Wait...I'm-I'm deaf? Is that why I can't hear anything? And here I thought you humans were just really quiet or something!
text
I was yelling at you, you should have heard it.
video
I know I should have heard it, because my ears do work even if the ticking is loud, but...wow. This is different.
text
Right, you said something about gears.
video
[Beams as if this is a totally normal thing to admit.]

[Just going to smile widely because hey, making friends with new people is always good.]
What house are you in, miss?
text

I'm in Heimdall myself, but currently live with others in Thor District.
