[So here comes Larry on the network, only he seems... off. More confident, perhaps? More chipper? Well whatever the reason he's got an announcement he wants all of Asgard--specifically all of Asgard's ladies to hear.]

Ladies. Look at your man. Now back to me. Don't have a man? Well that can quickly change. My name is Larry Butz, jack of all trades. If you can name it, I've probably tried it at least once. I'm looking for a lovely lady to spend time with here at Asgard. I'm a fiercely loyal and incredibly loving guy who's willing to give you my complete attention, if you don't mind the...uh... occasional lapse in judgement. I'll always make you smile and I'll genuinely listen to your day. All I ask in return is that you treat me with respect.

If anyone's interested, you should come look for me in the Freya district... tomorrow.

Well Trucy's been body swapped with her "Uncle" Larry, and rather than freak out about it she's going to try to get him a date. She worries about him, okay?]

... If that actually works, I'll be really impressed, Trucy. It's kinda scary how well you know me.

Of course it'll work! Once any lady gets to know you, they're bound to fall head over heels. You just had to get yourself out there. You know, market yourself.

Yeah...yeah, you're right! You said it all way better than I ever could, though. [Aside from lines that sounded just...wrong.]

[Yeah well she's no matchmaker.] I have known you for seven years, I hope I'd know a little something about you.

Oh yeah... I need to stop forgetting that. You're gonna have to tell me your life story eventually so I can catch up!

But aren't you not supposed to tell people the future? That's what all the sci-fi shows on TV say, anyway...

Good point. [He sighs, somewhat defeated.] It just feels so weird when someone knows everything about you, but you barely know anything about them.

I'm sorry Uncle Larry... don't make that face with my face... I don't want to hide things from you.

Is this face really that powerful? I'll have to remember that...

[At the same time, he's also realizing how expressive his own face is. Wow.]

It's okay, Trucy! Really! I'd rather be left in the dark than have world-ending time paradoxes happen back home.

Just know that you're as awesome now as you were when I was 8.

Does this count as an 'occasional lapse' ... ?

[Uh oh, Conan's smart. He might see through this facade and tell everyone. What would Larry do....? Oh right, freak out.] What's so wrong about asking the ladies out on a date, huh?! Don't they all look at the network?! Surely someone will see this and think "ooh that Larry, he's so cool!"

Butz-san's been single some time, huh.

W-why'd you gotta say it like that?! Yeah, sure, maybe I haven't been that lucky in love lately--but that's all gonna change now! Right!? [This is fun, it's like pretending to be Mr. Hat.]

I guess there's only one way to find out.

I think it's kind of easy to figure out, especially if people saw the post he did.

Yay, Larry! You should follow your heart and find your dream girlfriend! And get married and live together forever and ever and ever...

[ why no, she certainly hasn't figured out that this isn't Larry - with a performance like that, it's hard to tell! ]

[Grins.] Aw why thank you Regina. Hopefully it won't be long now before there's a honey on my arm.

A honey, or a sweetie-pie? [ She giggles. ] I don't know why you haven't got one already, Larry. I mean, you're nice and all...maybe you need something to impress them with, like a special skill.

Whichever she prefers.

Yeah, that's what I've been say--I mean, like what?

Some kind of talent! Like singing, or dancing, or even magic! Trucy could teach you how to do it. Or you could go the the magic guild.

I can paint!

..And what's the magic guild?

Then you should paint a portrait of someone you like. Or it could be of something special to them, as a gift! Like it could be a kitty cat, or a sky, or a bowl of candy. The possibilities are endless!

Oh, it's in Freyr. And it's run by Aladdin, so you should ask him. But they come together to talk about tricks and creatures and then they practice. It's fun!

[Mutters.] I'll have to look into that...for Trucy.

No problem! It's like what they say...if at first you don't succeed, try and try again, right?

She'd definitely like it, that's for sure.

It meets every month, so she can come along next time. Just say I invited her, okay?

But sometimes I just want to wallow in self-pity! [Well, Larry does and she's trying her hardest to be like him.]
