[At first there's static. Give it a second, Sonic's just trying to-- there we go!

The feed starts up with a lovely close-up of Sonic himself, looking all smug. Yes, folks, you're looking at a blue, anthropomorphic hedgehog who looks... nothing like a hedgehog! Go figure.]

Okay, now that I've got this bracelet thing workin', yo! [He does a quick thumbs-up.]

Looks like we're in here for the long haul. Either that, or is this one messed up dream. I'm leanin' towards us being stuck, 'cause there's no way I'd have dreams without my speed. Not gonna ask about powers, since it's pretty obvious that we all lost 'em. What I do wanna know is how many of you guys aren't human. Or, heck, how many of ya used to be somethin' else before you came here. Already bumped into some ponies.

As for me, I'm still one way past cool hedgehog, and proud of it. Name's Sonic. Leader of the Freedom Fighters, hero of Mobius, and the coolest dude you'll ever meet. And before I came here? The fastest thing on two feet-- no, even better, on the whole planet! And now I'm hangin' out in Thor house. Seems like a pretty cool dude.

[He smiiirks, crossing his arms and leaning up against a wall. With all that out of the way, there's one big concern. ...sorta.]

And one more thing: Who's in the mood for some chili dogs? Can't bring life and color to this place on an empty stomach!

Point is, me and the gang have been fighting to protect Mobius for years.

Sounds like there's always some kind of trouble there. [ But perhaps that's why one of the deities picked him, hm? Makes her wonder why they would pick her though. ]

Trouble with a capital T.

The whole planet got taken over by an ugly, bald bozo named Robotnik. Happened when I was just a kid. Since then, the whole planet's been turned into a polluted wasteland.

But that's why me and the Freedom Fighters fought to fix up the planet and kick 'Buttnik to the curb.

[ Don't mind her as she scrunches her nose just a little at that. Wasteland. Not the best way to describe your own hub you call home. Sounds pretty bad. But at least it's not like darkness-ate-his- Nah, okay, it's still pretty bad. Still, her smile returns gradually- a reassurance. ]

And with attitude, I'm sure one day you'll stop him for good. [ A pause. ] I guess it makes it tough for you to be here. [ As opposed to helping the others. Not that they were incapable. She has a feeling they'd kick just as much "'Buttnik" butt. ]

[Sonic appreciates the reassurance. Granted, he and Sally totally trashed Doomsday, but there's still a lot of work to be done. Besides, if Robotnik is still alive, they'd have to act fast.

But what're the chances of that?]

He's pretty much toast now. Went up in smoke when we trashed his Doomsday Project. No way he could've escaped.

But we've still got loads of work to do. It's kinda tough being pulled off of Mobius, but better now than when 'Buttnik was still in control.
