[As much fun as waking up in an entirely new part of Asgard can be, the fact she seems to have woken up in a house full of other people is not as fun. She didn't stick around to see who was here, or if anyone was here at all, before heading right on outside to figure out where the hell she ended up.

Thor District. Great. What is going on-

No, seriously. Ow. Her entire body hurts. Everywhere. She feels...older. Shorter. Different. And as she looks down at her hands, she realizes something is indeed different. Very different.

Give her a bit before she's going to turn on the video feed.]

This has got to be a trick of the gods. I don't... what is even going on? This is ridiculous!

Bobby, if you're seeing this...are there two of you now? [A thought dawns on her.] Do you look like me?

[She shakes her head.]

I don't know why this is happening, or if the gods have a point to it all, but if anyone needs to reach me - Kate Beckett - it seems for right now, and who knows how much longer, I look like this.

He is supposed to be the prankster god.

Looks like you know him more so than I do.

I know a little of his lore, sure. But that's norse myth Loki. I don't know about this one.

So there's other Gods with the same name?

From what I've seen. The god named Loki who is one of the gods here is a lot younger. The other Loki... [Oh god is she actually saying this] he's different. A little different. [No, she's not going to mention her comic fangirlism quite yet.]

No, it doesn't really. But the gods don't really have a reason for most of the stuff they do.

I'm also assuming that whoever's body you have, he might have your body. It should work that way, right?

[Excuse her as she takes off the trucker hat she's wearing and runs a hand through her hair. Which feels weird okay not doing that again. She keeps forgetting this isn't her...you know. Body.

She gives a sigh and a nod of her head.]

You're talking about the honesty thing, right? Yeah. I saw it. [And she doesn't like it. At all.] I'm definitely keeping a look-out for anything to happen. It'll just be, well, really messy to clean up.

[And she actually kind of hates herself for using Loki's wording. Even if it is true.]

Hmm ... I wonder if one of the healers can help you with that. You should go ahead and see what they can do for you.

[ He nods, looking a little more serious now. And he doesn't like it, either, Kate. ]

We don't really have much of a choice but to do what we're told, but it's the manner in which they're asking us. I don't like it one bit.

You know, I didn't think of that.

[Wow. That's actually a great idea. Why didn't she think of that?]

The only thing we can really do is prepare for the worst.

Might actually work better than any old aspirin, anyway. And perhaps you can suggest that to Bobby when you get your body back.

Even though we really have no idea what to expect from these guys. The Loki I'm familiar with ... ? He's easier to figure out than these Gods.

I'm sure Bobby's too stubborn to seek out any kind of medical help. That would mean admitting he actually is this old.

[She starts to ask what he meant about the Loki he's familiar with, but then it hits her. Oh god.]

He's here? In Asgard? [She had honestly thought the Loki on the network that she'd seen was Asgard's Loki. This Asgard's Loki. That just...opens up an entirely new can of worms.]
