005- Video as always-Accidental this time though

[The camera is jostled a bit as Train gets up to head down to the kitchen to raid the fridge as he is want to do, although he stops for a second.

There is he pats himself down...except he isn't a him anymore, he's a her, very clearly so, and he is just going to stand in the hallway for a second, video sort of shaking about as he runs a hand over the blond hair.]

Ah well that's new certainly. As is...a lot of things.

[Of course now that he has collected himself, and also noticed the decor isn't really the same as his own house- this would be the point where he flips the hell out.

There's an amount of flailing before he returns to the room he left from and then finally addresses the network, noticing this thing is indeed on.]

Okay! I give, gods aren't cool! Point has been memorized now, beyond memorized, I got it stuck in my head this fact.

But seriously for a second, who am I supposed to be here? I think we need to get the identity crisis sorted out.

Well... if you have enough advance notice, and you're able to come to terms with it, it just becomes something you have to do sometimes. It's still scary, but you can learn to live with it.

No it usually doesn't. Not unless you are dying of some disease but that isn't really a "have to" so much as "no helping it".

What about war? You at least go in knowing you could die. But you have to make your peace with that, because you feel like you're fighting for the right side. Just think of it that way, except you know that the war is going to kill you.

"Could" is not "have to". "Have to" denotes there is no choice in the matter, and being done for someone. "Could" just means a possibility, it isn't 100%. Soldiers survive wars just as much as they die in them.
And I'm in a business back home that I know I could die in, I still wouldn't be able to sit well with it if I had though.

...sounds like something out of one of those giant robot cartoons, also extremely depressing...

How did you get your hands on something like that then?

It was a giant robot, actually.

We were fooled into thinking we were beta testing a video game. Then when we were locked into a contract, we discovered that the robots were real, and the planet would be destroyed if we didn't fight and defeat the enemy.

...Who the hell comes up with that?

We never knew... at least as long as I was alive.

It's alright. But do you see what I mean now? I had time to come to terms with it, and it was me or the planet, so it was just something I had to do.

But that doesn't exactly make it normal.
You shouldn't be so pessimistic as to expect that regularly.
