and yet somehow, the mortals always believed the gods to be immortal. that they would be reborn speaks of an unending circle of life, but hel still houses those gods that fell before ragnarök, and would house those who fell after.
(those that didn't go to valhalla, naturally.)

However, in my observation of the network, there seems to be more than just regular mortal humans here. Implications from gods needing help from them, aside, I've seen quite a few who claims to be nigh deistic beings themselves.
