[ The view is that of a sky, all blue with an occasional cloud. It is silent and you might think that it is an accidental broadcast.

Until the dragon.

The dragon flies through the sky, a dark shape growing more distinct as it draws closer to land onto the windowpane of the welcome hall of Sigyn. Up close one can see the dragon's scales are black as coal and his eyes are the deepest of red.

As the image moves, Daenerys can be seen, leaned against the windowpane, head rested on her elbow. She offers a piece of roasted meat to the dragon who snatches it happily. ]

I wonder what it is that you have seen. Are these skies familiar to you, or are they as foreign as this city? All realms cannot share one sky, I reckon.

[ a pensive hum before she addresses her audience. ]

My people called it shierak qiya, a bleeding star. It was seen during the day as well as the night. Has it showed itself here? It is as red as Drogon's eyes.

[ the feed closes as she presses a finger alone the dragon's spine. ]

[Yep, still pretty awed by the dragon hatchling. Even believing the dragon doesn't understand him, Merlin greets Drogon in the other language again, just as soft and sibilant as the last time.

Then he turns his attention to Daenerys again.]

A red star? I don't think we've seen one in Asgard yet. Was it common in your world?

I should think so. It came into the world the same night as my dragons. I followed its tail into the Red Wastes. My people thought it is a sign; that it was sent to guide me.

The skies are as varied as the universe is wide. Here, they're familiar enough that the differences, subtle as they are, are all the more noticeable. [ a moment's pause. ] How has your dragon been adapting?

The stars are different, to be certain. There is nothing familiar in this city.

[ Drogon moves to her lap and she smiles. ]

He eats as he had in my own realm. I reckon he feels as trapped as I do. He is anxious.

A bleeding star? That depends on what it looks like. I've never seen anything in the sky that looked red and you could also see it during the day and night. Never heard of anything of the sort either.

I have yet to see something in the skies here that red. For it to show itself during the day and the night, it would have to be very close.

I mean, probably not a pet, since dragons are kinda—not really tameable, right? With the firebreathing and claws and teeth and stuff. [makes a gesture like RAWR] It's really... beautiful.

[oh but she asked a question huh.]

I haven't seen any stars like that, though.

Drogon is indeed no pet as dragons are fierce creatures.

[ she smiles as he crawls to rest against her side. ]

But he is bound to me and I to him, as child and mother.

[ she nods at his answer. ]

It did not show here then, I assumed as much.

It would seem it truly did not grace Asgard's sky. A sign unique to my realm but I think you for your assistance.
