002 - [Video]/Action in Loki District if you wish
[A video feed comes online. It looks like one of the dingiest, grayest and most forgotten parts of the Loki district. The only color is fading back into existence on the frame of Samantha Grey as she fiddles with her bracelet and gives it a thoughtful growl. She doesn't seem to completely notice that she's not wearing a cap right now, her horns visible.
Looking over to her right, the screen shifts just enough to give a view of a house guard in Hel colors. She nods to him before he departs and sighs.]
Thank you.
[There's a grunt and her hand reaches up to pull the cap she doesn't find there down. This makes her look even more annoyed, but ultimately it just gets another shrug. She sits heavily against the wall and looks around.]
So, I suppose this whole gray thing isn't complete bullshit, is it? Not exactly the brightest way to find out about that, I suppose. There really doesn't seem to be a way out of here, either, but I suppose most of you already knew that. Those bastards have us right where they want us, don't they? [She looks very briefly defeated, though her jaw firms quickly enough. She's not one to give up even in hopeless situations. This just requires a new tactic.]
(OOC: And with that, back from hiatus am I.)

I wouldn't trust these Gods as my allies, but I'd trust them as my enemy.

[One more divine, supernatural entity trying to control her, one more untrustworthy spiritual force that threatened to corrupt her. One more monster to escape. The names had just changed was all.]

[ and here, he's actually just fishing for information-- while he'd actually prefer to be here as well, and while he probably dislikes the gods as much as she does (and perhaps even for the same reasons), he's curious. and on his guard. ]

[Odds were good that she'd be no more a fan of the frost or fire giants, but the fact remained that she did not like being kidnapped.]

If you're referring this whole Ragnarok business, I'm not sold, not yet. I'm not the sort who just buys what people tell them.

Well, it's just a thought. At the very least, I'm fairly certain that they don't particularly care about what we say, so long as we're not shoving it in their faces.

Shall I wish you luck for your musings, or will you be alright without?

[For all her paranoia, she didn't actually have that high an opinion of herself. She was paranoid, not because she thought she was the center of the world, or that important, but because one crazed individual hounded her steps. Even if he wasn't actually here, his shadow was long, at least in her mind.]

[ said with the light lilt of someone who's curious! ]

[The answer was vague, wooden and direct. Why go into further detail? She was a monster, but she didn't need to just share everything with everyone, now did she?]

Oh, dear. Scary, scary. Should I be fearing for my life, do you think?
