[A video feed comes online. It looks like one of the dingiest, grayest and most forgotten parts of the Loki district. The only color is fading back into existence on the frame of Samantha Grey as she fiddles with her bracelet and gives it a thoughtful growl. She doesn't seem to completely notice that she's not wearing a cap right now, her horns visible.

Looking over to her right, the screen shifts just enough to give a view of a house guard in Hel colors. She nods to him before he departs and sighs.]

Thank you.

[There's a grunt and her hand reaches up to pull the cap she doesn't find there down. This makes her look even more annoyed, but ultimately it just gets another shrug. She sits heavily against the wall and looks around.]

So, I suppose this whole gray thing isn't complete bullshit, is it? Not exactly the brightest way to find out about that, I suppose. There really doesn't seem to be a way out of here, either, but I suppose most of you already knew that. Those bastards have us right where they want us, don't they? [She looks very briefly defeated, though her jaw firms quickly enough. She's not one to give up even in hopeless situations. This just requires a new tactic.]

Texted. We didn't speak for long, and he could have been lying, but I don't know that I think he was. There's a lot of stories about him where I come from. Father of lies, they used to call him.

There was also a guy who looked half bug or something worse, with an ugly tattoo on his face. Smelled like a demon too.

Sounds like a Pokemon. [ DKSFJLSFS SHHHH, HE MEANT KAZ. ]

Uhhh, no, not really for either of them. One looks like a guy, and the other's a really ugly guy with spider legs to boot who talks with a k-k-k-k sound. Real bad attitude too.

Well, I meant the bug one. [ Maybe he should try throwing pokeballs at him. ]

It sounds like you have been hunting them down to make a list or something. [ Just saying. ]

It's not a bad idea to keep a list of people you want to avoid. [Just saying.] But didn't really hunt them down. The ugly one's a neighbor of mine at the house, and the other guy's just someone I ran into on accident.

[ Hmmm. Pikachu and Red will go into a thinking pose together. ] Is this what they would call bad luck?

Story of my damned life, Red. Don't worry about it. I'm used to crappy luck like this, kid. It's a bit worse than usual, but I can figure out some way through it.

Do you like bento? [ Sobbing, maybe he can get her something since she sounds like she's having a rough time. ]

What's a bento? That sounds like it's japanese or something. Never heard of it.

Yeah, it's usually a Japanese lunch packed into a box or container.

Never had one of those. I'll have to take your word for it being good at least for now, but I've had packed food every once in a while.

I was actually planning on dropping one off for you.

I bought a couple, so... [ Because obviously that'll help her mood. ]

I'm catching drinks with Shou in a few minutes, but I wouldn't mind trying one of those one of these days soon. Maybe I'll just take a raincheck for now and we can do that again soon? [It was a nice gesture. No reason not to humor it.]

My box? Ummm, if you want to risk it, you could drop it off with my name over at the fridge in the kitchen at Hel House, but I don't suggest it. Merlin told me there's some sort of weird spell on the houses that keep us from staying at other folks' places for long.
