Oh, no. I'm not being sarcastic at all. And while I see your point-- they really have made themselves out to be an obviously malevolent, or at least terribly ambiguous, source of trouble-- I'd like to think that 'trust' isn't as simple as believing in good of others and shying away from the inconvenient.

I wouldn't trust these Gods as my allies, but I'd trust them as my enemy.
