♠ second fragment; [video/action for heimdall]
[someone seems to be up someplace high; a roof, if you're clever enough to guess. Crouched on that roof is Yusuf, freshly awoken from having been stuck amongst the gray natives. He's more than glad to be really awake again, and greets the strange communicating device with a wave of his left hand--
--few should be able to tell except the particularly observant, very few--but that casual and almost instantaneous flash of his hand is remarkable only because his ring finger is bent down.
But who cares about that? A handsome Turk is smiling at the network and he's already speaking--]
This city... [He shakes his head.] It is very remarkable, but... I never thought blending into a crowd would be so boring, eh?
Let us say that perhaps my desire to bring color to this place has been renewed. Where might I find some honest work? [and by h o n e s t he means "work that pays."]
[ooc: those in Heimdall District, feel free to run into him on the streets or ogle at him sitting on a rooftop. C: ]

[action] OMG SORRY ABOUT BEING SO LATE
...Or, more acurately, he's going to attempt to jump over to the rooftop Yusuf's on-and utterly fail at it, his hands grabbing the rooftop's edge in a desperate attempt to keep himself from falling down onto the streets below. Give him enough time and he'll be able to pull himself up, but aaaaaagh oh man help.]
Rggh-!
[Dammit, and he was getting better at this whole rooftop travel thing too! Why'd he have to go and make such a big mistake with that jump?]
LOL RIGHT BACK ATCHA
--and he's on his feet within seconds, catching the boy's wrist with a flash of movement so he can haul him up.]
--Careful! I would not recommend leaping across vast distances. Falls from great heights can be dangerous.
LET'S BE LATE TOGETHER
I forgot to put my speed on for that jump. I guess I had other things on my mind.
Thanks for the help, though.
[Action]
Mornin' neighbor!

He eases himself down and dangles his feet over the eaves.]
Günaydın!

[He scratches the back of his head. Guna-what? Ah, whatever.]
What are you doing up there?
video;
And don't think he didn't notice that quick gesture- not that he's not supposed to notice...]
Yusuf, sì? It is good to see you amongst the travelers again.
[A pause.]
Now, what is this about work?
video;
Now all you have to do bro is stop making Yusuf feel old]Greetings, brother. [a laugh] Now what would you know of work, my friend?
video;
You may be surprised, amico. [Though the next part is a bit curious, but also teasing.] Tell me, how willing would you be to travel Asgard and deliver messages?
video;
The crowds are not so boring as honest work, are they?
video;
Günaydın. That may depend either on the crowd or the work.
video;
True, signore. What manner of work are you accustomed to, then?
Video,
maybe he's a little curious. )
Where have you been?
Video,
I did not know you were so concerned for me. [obviously joking there.] No, no, I understand. I was drawn amongst the city's native people. It was as if I was one of them and walking through a dreary fog.
[Seeing as there's no harm in letting that information out, that's the straight truth. He shakes his head.]

I've just never met a quiet Turk before is all. ( But he will relax once his question is answered. Spain's interest is pinged! He was speaking to someone about "going grey" not too long ago. ) Do you mean you took your bracelet off? Ay, did you lose it? How reckless!

I would be pleased to shatter your expectations but... [he shrugs] I can be silent as often as my voice could ring across the streets.
[he thinks he might like you, spain. we'll see. yusuf rubs at his chin in thought.] Ah, if only I had! Perhaps my arrival was not suited to our hosts' designs. [he shrugs again, staying as sincere and as ambiguous as possible.] God willing it does not befall you.

BEING SERIOUS IS A LOT OF WORK HOW DO PEOPLE DO IT? Guys, his face kind of hurts from being so :|
But the last part has a humbling effect. It's a good wish, okay. He bows his head some. )
And you, señor. ( . . .TOPIC CHANGE. ) Are you saying you were punished?
