[As awareness returns and grey recedes, Freyjadour finds himself backstage at the draupnir, although he had been leaving work last he remembered. The guard in front of him nods, before walking off without a word, leaving Freyjadour staring after him in confusion, bracelet in hand.

Though that confusion is broken by a rather petulant 'meow' as a rather sulky Charles stares up at him, wanting the shiny bangle she had been hoarding all to herself back but unable to reach it. The kitten whines a bit more, before stalking off with a twitch of her tail, leaving Frey staring after her, too.

The sensation of coming back to himself was decidedly odd, and a relief as well. Was that what the people here had experienced? It wasn’t something he fancied experiencing again, not at all. It put the situation in a bit more perspective, if that was so.

But how long had he been like that, senseless and grey....? He couldn't tell at all, and so he brings up the screen of his bracelet, glad it seems to be working properly.]

I must keep a better watch over my bracelet, it seems. How long has it been.....? It was the 95th day when I left.

Lyon? Are you alright?

[Most of all, though, he's concerned about how Lyon would have taken this.]

I apologize if my disappearance has inconvenienced anyone.

... No, I did not. [If he were aware of that, he would have seen to it that the bracelet be returned to Frey if he had to check every native himself. It would have spared them all some worry.]

How do you know of this?

She tried to take it back from me after it was returned. It is only a suspicion on my part, but she was eyeing my bracelet like a toy.

Or she could very well have been relieved to see you again. [But he wasn't disregarding Freyjadour's claims, Charles did have a habit of being drawn to shining objects.

Though if it really were her doing, he would have to accept full responsibility for what happened to the other man.]

Perhaps so.... [Maybe he was thinking too much on this... it would take quite a thing for a kitten to hide such an important object from the guards, wouldn't it....?]

Was she with you before you fell into that state? [He had been allowing her to wander around on her own more often the past two weeks, but if that meant she got into this sort of trouble then he would have to keep her under strict supervision for more time.]

[It takes him a moment to think back, but he nods.] I had stopped to pet her before leaving for the day.

And the next thing you know you find yourself waking up after having your bracelet returned to you. [All evidence did point to Charles being the culprit. Where was she right now anyhow, and if it really had been her how had she kept such an item without his notice?]

Yes. [It was an odd sensation, to have such a large gap in what he could remember clearly.]

And those are all the observations you've made of then and now?

There is little to remember of the time between.

Very well. [He had hoped for more information on this state, but short of experiencing it himself there was likely little way to obtain it.]

Would you have idea of where Charles went?

She went backstage. I do not know where she is now.

I will search for her in due time, then. [As soon as he finishes this conversation with Frey, but there was still much left to ask.]

Right now you are feeling no ill effects of having been in such a state?

No. I do not feel fatigued or ill. [a little dazed and confused? Certainly.]

[This is the stare of someone who wants all the details, Frey. He'll get Lyon on your case if he must.]

It is an odd feeling, that is all.

I feel fine.

If you insist. [He will still be keeping close watch on Frey just in case, and investigating into whether his claims that Charles could have taken the bracelet could be true.]

Then I advise you return to your life as you have it here. And seeking Lyon if she is not rushing to you already.

She is already on her way and planning to meet me here. [He takes a seat on the edge of the stage, waiting.]

[... 'Concern?' What was that comment Frey, that wasn't something you were supposed to pick up on easily.]

[Wouldn't most people be concerned if someone they knew went missing for two weeks? Eyes had responded... therefore there was probably concern.

And isn't that the polite thing to say? 'Thanks'?]

[In most conversations yes, that would be the polite thing to say, but not necessarily true when the person you are speaking to is Eyes Rutherford. It only irritated him when those who were not Blade Children took note of his softness.]

Do what you must and get on with what it is you have to do, Freyjadour.

Do you wish for me to resume work today? [He had been gone two weeks, afterall..... It would take a while to make up that amount of work.]

That would be what I expect. [Not that he can force him into anything; he would rather not have to deal with an exhausted Freyjadour here at the theater.]

Of course. I will get back to work immediately. [...Though Lyon planned to help him with his workload today.]

[Which he would have no issue with, as long as it did not hinder their progress with their assigned duties.]
