2 [Video]
I realize that this place is a far cry from normal, but I do have a question concerning the... natives and what makes them happy.
[Rachel, by the video, seems to be somewhere within the Odin district. She has an armful of books and her bracelet is turned on, precariously centered on her face as she tries to adjust everything -- but as her arm moves, it seems to show a collective of grey people staring at her.]
I was just walking home and a few of them started to follow me and I'm unsure on whether or not they want me to come with them or take me to their leader or -- well, it isn't as if any of them speak and -- this is so rude, they can probably hear me -- oh, no --
[And as Rachel turns, to face her followers, the books tip out of her arms to land on the ground. She curses softly to herself before she steps forward, to rescue a sheaf of sheet music from a puddle. And as she's about to proclaim that she doesn't have the money to replace it, one of the natives stoops to pick up one of her books -- and seems to point at the sheet music that she's borrowed from the library. She takes it gingerly before looking at it -- and she looks up at the taller being with a tentative smile.]
Do you like music -- ? Is that what you want to keep hear --
[And the feed shuts off as she hurries to pick up the rest of her things.]

What were you doing earlier? The grey ones are usually quite passive.
video;
[Rachel is loading the books into her bag, still smiling tentatively at the grey people who are still staring at her.]
video;
[He gives her an encouraging nod.]
Try it again.

They do like music. They'll listen for a long time if you sing for them. Or whatever you do, I guess, but that was vocal music, right?
video;
[She folds the sheet music gingerly to put back into her bag.]

Wow, I've never seen them follow anyone like that before! Were you doing something with music, miss?
video;
[Rachel does that, singing in public, it's her thing. 8|]
And they started following me when I was singing to myself -- I didn't think there were more than two or three, but --
[Now there are ten or twelve.]
video;
[Analyzing that for a moment. It takes her a bit to try and figure out what could possibly make a horde of natives follow a singing girl, but then she giggles. ]
Well, um, music has a lot of emotions in it, right? And we're meant to bring color back to this world through emotions, so maybe... they liked your singing because it had a lot of emotion in it!

Then with the two of us combined, surely it would be an evening for them to remember.

I'm not sure I feel like singing.

For instance, those natives who work with me are already quite distinct and colorful.
video;
[WHAT ARTISTIC WONDERS DO YOU PRESENT TO THEM.]
video;
[No reading to them. No singing.]
I do discuss my experience in the legal field. They're unfamiliar with the concepts and philosophy of modern justice. There are also a number of books and periodicals at the tea room which they're welcome to read when not working.

She searches through her massive repetoire inside her head, to try and figure out what she wanted to sing -- something soft, certainly, not overpowering -- something that could easily be sung without much pomp and circumstance.
There are thousands of songs that fit that description, but Rachel decides to settle on a soft and sweet song that she sung ages ago.
It seems fitting, anyway.]

[She says this with a honest smile.]

I only wish I could see their faces. They can't tell me their names.

If I had known that, I would have begun singing for the public on the first day.

[All things considered -- and she offers Quinn a bright smile, to reassure her, before she refocuses her attention on the grey people.]
They seem to be mostly harmless, actually. I think they just want someone to talk to them.
