001 [Video]
[Walking through the streets of Asgard, Arya shrinks back whenever she feels people, gray natives or colorful travellers, are looking at her too closely. She's got so used to being a fugitive, it's almost instinct now. She doesn't want these people to recognize her under the layers of mud and the mat of short hair, doesn't want them to see a Stark girl, to drag her back to King's Landing kicking and screaming, or run her through in the street right there for being the daughter of a traitor. She grips the coin that Jaqen gave her tightly in her fist; there's no way that she's letting it get stolen away from her here.
Ducking down a side alley, out of sight, she allows herself to rest for a minute. She looks at the bracelet she was given on arrival curiously, turning it over in her hands. She's never been one for jewellery, but the things that this is capable of - projecting images unlike anything she's ever seen - has made her fascinated with it.]
I wonder how it's made? It must be some very powerful magic.
[She starts to record, and then panics.] What if someone recognizes me? I don't know anyone here, I don't know who to trust.
[She turns away, breathing deeply to calm herself. She could start with something vague, something that wouldn't give her away. Besides, she needs to know if there's anyone from her country here.]
Is there anyone here from Westeros?
[Having got that nervous question out, her curiosity rears its head.]
Just where is Asgard, anyway? What sort of place is it? Are there any warriors?
[She figures that's enough questions to start on, at least.]

[This was feeling surreal, even for Samantha. She felt sick to her stomach. Children should not fight the wars of gods.]

[As for hiding in an alley...] I'm not sure if there are other people here from my world ... people who want to hurt me.
Audio
Are there actually people who wish to harm you, or are you simply wise in avoiding strangers?

[She hesitates, but there's been no reason not to trust the people she's met here so far, especially as they seem to know nothing about the problems in her country..] They killed my father. They called him a traitor, but he wasn't one.

[She couldn't believe she was about to suggest what she was.]
Uh, do you know where the house you got dropped off at is supposed to be? You might go there until you've checked things out and made sure they aren't here.

[Sticking her neck out wasn't usually her style, but it was a kid for god's sakes. She didn't think she needed to be finding places alone, even if Sam didn't know her way around this city any better.]
Audio
I think I'll be okay, but thank you. If ... if I need help, later on, can I call on you?

[A moment's thought and she made sure her hat was in place to conceal her horns before swtching to a video feed so her face was visible, piercing red eyes gazing into it.]
So that you know what I look like.

All right, I'll go to the house and take things from there. Thank you, Samantha.

[And suddenly, she looks to the side as if nervous. Something is bothering her deeply, underneath the surface. She wants to actually be the sort of person the girl can trust, though ]
Look, if I ever tell you to run, Arya, promise me you will. And you just stay safe.
[She cut off the call before Arya could ask for an explanation.]
