( The feed cuts on and Spain isn't really paying attention. It looks like he's still playing with the bracelet but it's hard to tell. When he looks up, he's almost surprised to see that it's started to work already. Some day, he'll get used to this magic. Until then, have a welcoming smile, )

It's interesting; I thought I'd seen everything but it looks like there's more out there.

What is your world like? Is it nice? How's the weather? Does it have anything interesting? What about the military. . .

( Spain you aren't being very subtle about your intentions here. )

Speaking of places. ( He holds up his copy of the map that was given to him. He taps at a random area outside the wall, ) Can anyone tell me about what is outside the walls?

An island? ( He's rarely met an island he didn't like. Except for England. But he wasn't really an island. Not that Spain liked his siblings very much either. Scotland wasn't too bad. Or, well, Mary wasn't bad. ) It does sound beautiful. Ah, I don't know about the jungle though. I haven't had very good experiences in those.

Not at all. The last time I went, I was attacked by these tiny frogs. ( He holds up his fingers to show how small the poison dart frogs in South America were. ) . . . Or was that before or after the apple tree. . . Ay, it wasn't a very good adventure for my men!

( His eyes light up at the offer, )

Really? I'd like that! Yes! ( Oh, God, he's like an excited kid right now, ) A-and I'll show you my house too if you can ever come to Spain!

[He's an excited kid right back!!!!!] Of course! You could see my kingdom, certainly you would like it! What is your Spain like? One day I would like to visit I'm sure it's beautiful

Poison! It was enough to make me sick. ( He doesn't really want to think about the men who died from them early on. )

Ah, it's the greatest kingdom in the world. ( An afterthought, ) No offense, my friend. Beaches and mountains and the sun is always shining. . . Fountains and castles and then there is the countryside. The women are beautiful, everyone smiles, and everyone is so very kind too.

Oh! [Stunned, how could little frogs do that?] So you touched them and got sick?

[Chin in palm, eyes wide and intrigued.] It sounds lovely, I wish I can see it one day.

( He nods, )

It was awful. I got sick from just wearing a shirt one had been on, can you believe that? If I were human, I would have died so many times over.

( Thinking about home-- even his territories, is beginning to make him feel a little homesick. )

I hope you can come. Ay, I miss it already. . .

That's normal, right? Maybe one of the gates will lead there eventually?

I don't know! I've never encountered a poison that strong before until then. . .

Only if one of the gates will take me to the sea. In which case, I would have to get a ship and a crew too. I'm the greatest nation in the world but I'm not quite a miracle worker.

Hmmm, maybe they were bred to be like that? As a protection?

Even then, you would not know which way to sail, would you? I hardly know which way to go unless one of the gates leads to familiar land, maybe Balbadd-ah, but the children are wanted there... or if we ended up in the Dark Continent. [pause] Ah, this is troublesome.
