All right, all right. I think I've just about maxed out my hours in the library, so I'm ready to look for something else to occupy myself. And, er, earn some money. To buy books.

So! This is my official job inquiry. Does anypony have any open positions that requires a pony of modest talent? My special talent is... well, magic, but what that translates to here is that I do research, I have an excellent memory, and I have a good grasp of logic! I have work experience as a librarian, and... Okay, that's about it.

[ There's a pause as Twilight looks excitedly into the camera, bouncing on her heels. Then- ]

Well, I lived and worked in the Books and Branches Library in Ponyville the entire time I lived there, so that's about... a year or so?

You could try waiting for one of the faceless people to be in charge. I don't think I can give job interviews. Or make your own bookstore or something.

If you know multiple languages, or-- if you have good penmanship, you could perhaps work for the shop my brother and I run.

There's a lot of scope at the hospital for someone with good data management skills! I happen to know that the laboratory is short of staff right now, for example! [Because he stole 5 of them for his own department.]

Uh- well, if you want to make money quickly, you could work at a store or restaurant until you have enough money to be picky.

Well, I'm not in any dire need for money, either. I mean, I don't have to pay rent. And there's always food in the kitchen.... Although it would be nice to have more variety for us herbivores.

I hope there isn't really a maximum number of hours you can spend in the Library - I never want to run out of time there, considering I think I'd need three regular lifetimes to read through it all.

I work in a clothing store, though, I don't know if that's the sort of thing you would be interested in. Have you asked the Library owners if there are paid positions there for reshelving or desk clerking or something?

I wasn't being literal. [ Actually, she accidentally set some books on fire, so she's avoiding the library. Not that she says as much. ]

My friend Rarity runs a clothing boutique, though I'd rather not have to ask my friends for work. Working together can complicate friendships, or so I've read.
