These 'god houses'...can they be changed or switched?

[Because out of everything he's been told, this is the only thing he feels like he can do anything about right now. And, really, the irony of being put in 'Hel' is not lost on him and he doesn't appreciate it.]

Also, is there any way to find out who else is here? Like a list?

I meant which house? Baldr? It's hard to weigh in on the trustworthiness without knowing.
