[ when the feed flickers on his camera, it shows ... a peculiar sight.
that's the Eleventh Doctor, alright. his usual tweed coat is off, though, as he tinkers with a very odd contraption. it looks similar to this with a few more coat hangers, brooms, and carved wood. his lips are rather firmly pressed together, before he turns to see the video recording, and he smiles tightly. ]
As some've you already found out, Ten--that's the Doctor with porcupine hair--he's gone.
Just making a double announcement, both me and Nine--still fine. Still here.
[ he looks down at what he's working on, a few wooden blocks. he opens his mouth to say something, but-- ]
Hey, old man, rest your head.
You're breaking down inside.
Armor's cracked, set to collapse.
Damn you, don't you cry...
I've ended lives, I've ended worlds.
I guess I've done it all.
Fire and ice and rage inside,
How long 'til I fall?
Somewhere, all my darkest fears are gathering.
