[ And here is one person who hadn't shown her face in a long while. This is the Lady Morgana, a long gown, pale skin and black hair caught up in a messy bun.

A messy..? Yes, for once, she doesn't look flawless. But that is because of where she is.

Lady Morgana is in the kitchen and from the look of it, she is baking.

A royal woman baking, yep.

At her side, there is a rather nice looking pile of cookie dough and a few trays of cookies which she had, at last, after many weeks, managed to comprehend how to bake.

But now she's not baking them, rather she is trying something new. But she looks confused. ]

Mix the eggs - do they mean one at a time or all together?

[ watch her frown at the recipe. ]

Has anyone ever attempted baking a cheese cake? I find myself rather confused. I managed the crust but I can't comprehend the rest of it.

[ and now watch her just...eat a bit of cookie dough. This is hard, ok? ]

I'm not sure he's really known for being honorable.

[ What honorable man puts kids in an arena to kill each other? ]

I am not surprised. A ruler who rules with a sword over his people is not a ruler at all but a tyrant.

The people of the Capitol are happy and healthy and they have more food than they know what to do with. Their biggest problems are whether or not their party will be as big and extravagant as their last party.

[ Peeta shakes his head and stops there for the moment. It's time to gently steer the conversation back to where it was ]

My family's owned a bakery in District 12 for a while. If you still live at home, you help out until either your name is called [ At the Reaping of course. Let's just skip right on past that though ] or you move out. [ A pause ] You said you've never done much of it? Baking?

[ frowning ]

He stands idly by while some of his people enjoy richness and others -

[ she tries to concentrate on his question. That's the thing about Morgana, every injustice bothers to an extreme. ]

No. I am - the Lady Morgana of Camelot. My brother is prince Arthur. We never lacked anything and at the same time -

I know my brother will one day be king. And I know he shall never do that, he will never seen some enjoy such richness while others do not. He will care for each and every one of his people as a king should. As every man or woman with honor should. I hope, for the sake of your realm that you shall see a day with a ruler who is different, who is more like my brother.

[ and not like Uther but she won't speak of her father. ]

[ Peeta frowns. He's usually better at this. Perhaps he needs a different approach in the future, with someone like Morgana ]

A long time ago, there were the Dark Days. The Districts rose up and rebelled against the Capitol. All that really resulted from it was the destruction of District 13 and the annual Hunger Games. It's starting to happen again. The Districts are starting to fight back.

We could only be so lucky to end up with a President anything like your brother. The odds haven't exactly been in our favor though.

You must not lose hope.

[ it comes out at once, naturally. ]

My world knew injustice and persecution as well. At the days of the Great Purge those who had magical abilities were all put to death. Entire families disappeared and it all ended with the defeat of the Last Dragon. But things are changing. With a leader like Arthur magic might yet have a place in Camelot and the injustice done to the people who practice it will end.

So will the injustice done on your people by your president. If they are fighting back for their freedom then I am certain there is still a chance for something better.

The Capitol is stronger than we are. We have strong Districts too, yes, but they'll likely back the Capitol if anything happens. The rest of us... The amount of people lost to the Games will be nothing compared to this. A change needs to be made but a rebellion isn't the way. It'll only make things worse. If the Games were the punishment last time, I don't want to imagine what they'd do next.

[ Saying these things here does no good, though. These things need to be said at home ]

Where you're from, things are changing for the better?

No - not yet. There is a king in power and he loathes magic and all those who are born with it. But there is Arthur and he will one day be king. Under his reign, things will be different, I know it. There is hope for Camelot still.

When you say magic, what is it that you mean, exactly? [ ...just for clarification ]

Magic? Well, magical people can do quite a bit of...I've never seen much but they can move things around without touching them. And they can put people under enchanted sleep by singing -

[ lip bite. ]

To be honest, most magical people I've met came to the castle in order to kill the king, for obvious reasons.

[ Peeta shakes his head, maybe a little in disbelief ] We have nothing like that in Panem.

Many people here seem to not have magic in their world. It's almost extinct in mine.

But with people fighting for it, or rather for the people with it, is there a chance it could come back? [ It seems important to her world ] ... like mockingjays.

There is a chance, yes. A certain chance.

[ hold on wait. ]

Mockingjays?

They're birds from home, the product of a mockingbird and a jabberjay. The jabberyjay is a muttation, a Capitol creation, and one that failed to do what it was supposed to. Despite the Capitol's attempt to destroy them all, they lived on and even bred a new species of bird.

The situation in your world just reminded me of the jabberyjays and mockingjays, living on despite all attempts to wipe them out.

[ She smiles. ]

Freedom is bound to come for all of us.

[ That coaxes a bit of a smile out of him ]

A place without electric fences and Peacekeepers and the Hunger Games. I just hope I get to see it.

A hope that I will share from this day on.

Though despite everything, I really do have to admit that sometimes, I just miss working in my family's bakery.

[ So, back before he was in the Games, back before the rebellion, back when things were just as they were. Back when his life only felt threatened on Reaping Day ]

I think it's natural, to miss home.

[ He nods a little sadly. Things used to be so much simpler ]

You're right. I suppose it doesn't really matter, the circumstances.

Yes, there are times I miss Camelot as well.

How long has it been since you were there last?

Months, I should say. I arrived here with the first men from the other worlds.
