9 [Voice]
[There isn't a video feed -- mostly because Sam has spent the last half hour readjusting to the fact that he's a person again and he really doesn't want to see the majority of the city right now. But after gauging how long he's been gone and knowing his family is probably flipping the fuck out, he can't really avoid a public service announcement to let everyone know that Sam Winchester is, in fact, not dead.
There's an awkward moment of hesitation, though, before Sam begins to speak. His voice is a little quiet and hoarse, but he sounds like he's in one piece.]
... I'm sorry, for worrying everyone, but -- I'm alright.
[People require more detail than that, surely. But Sam doesn't know what to say. He can't tell the entire city that he has one foot in Hell and the other foot in reality. That he took off his bracelet in a psychotic fit of get it off of me. But he can't keep it a secret forever, especially since he's obviously not okay. So he settles for a compromise -- and Sam lets out a long breath.]
I'm in room 302 at the hospital in the Sigyn district, if anyone wants to come see me. But -- just as a future warning, don't take off your bracelets unless you want to forget who you are until you put them back on.
[There's a tiny laugh. It doesn't sound very happy.]
It's kind of a weird whiplash effect when you snap back to reality.
[And he stops before he shuts off the feed, to send out a few private messages. This time, though, they're on video, and they show Sam sitting on the edge of a bed. He looks tired, pale, but in one piece. And definitely still Sam.]
[Filtered to Dean Winchester, Bobby Singer, and Castiel]
[Sam forces a smile. It's the smile he wears when he knows he is in this much trouble. Some things don't change from the time you are four to the time you are twenty-eight. Being in a large amount of trouble because you're the baby of the family and you went off missing is one of them.]
-- did I miss anything?
[Please don't kill him.]
[Filtered to Vriska Sekret // Private // Unhackable]
[This smile is a little more genuine and less 'please don't kill me'. Sam is pretty sure he can stop Vriska from punching him in the face, okay.]
So -- becoming a ghostly grey person, not as cool as you would think.
What is cool is sneaking food into the hospital so I can eat something that isn't pre-chewed.
[Sam may or may not be on a psychotic watch. ... y u p.]
[Filtered to Buffy Summers // Private // Unhackable]
[ -- or Sam was going to send out a message, when it is returned as a failure. He tries again -- and again -- and maybe six more times until he gets this odd sinking feeling in his chest. Something is either wrong or he missed something or did she go home? Did he miss her going home?
-- dammit.]

action;
He's fine, he was just dropped on his head as a kid --
[A few quiet reassurances and a mandatory ice pack later, Sam turns to Dean in exasperation.
And he throws the ice pack at his face because he is not using that, thank you, he can take a punch to the shoulder.]
What in the hell is wrong with you?
no subject
[Yeah, try and top that, Sammy! And he ducks the ice pack. Mostly. It still catches him slightly in the ear.]
What's wrong with me? The hell's wrong with you? Where'd you go, Sam?
1/2
[ -- except, um, everything is wrong with Sam, and he lowers his voice to a hiss to avoid attracting more nurses, because the last thing Sam needs is for his older brother to be banned from the hospital for upsetting a mentally unsound patient.]
I didn't just leave, I took off my bracelet by mistake and the next thing I know, I woke up here. I don't even remember taking the damn thing off!
no subject
-- sorry, I'm --
[And he trails off before he crosses his arms over his chest, suddenly uncomfortable.]
... I didn't mean to leave.
no subject
[Well, Sam's the smart one, he could piece things together and figure out what Dean was getting at. And it didn't help that none of this had been intentional, because it just meant that Sam's crazy was affecting him more and more.]
Just. Don't do it again. Cas was molting he was so worried about you.
no subject
[That -- that is most definitely important. And Sam is about to fire off another line of questioning, some spark of life jolted back into him, before --
... oh, dear. :(]
Cas was what?
no subject
[The corner of his mouth twitches into a smile despite himself. Cas had been kind of hilarious through this whole thing.]
Molting. His wings. They're gone now, though. Too bad, I wanted to get him to fly.
no subject
... I made Cas molt?
[HE ACTUALLY FEELS REALLY BAD.]
Is he -- I mean, is he okay, did he recover from... molting? That doesn't do permanent damage in birds but I don't know what it does to angels.
no subject
[He shrugs, because you learn something new about divine spirits every day when you've got one as a roommate.]
He's fine, the wings are gone anyways. [snort] You really should've seen it, Sammy.
