[Momoka is sitting in her room--the bracelet is on the desk and she doesn't seem to know it's on--instead she's studying an apple, or more specifically, she's studying the sticker on it, running an index finger along the outside. After a moment she shifts, realizes she's being filmed, and smiles.]

What do you think of fate?

An excuse for what? What people do?

Everything. If they fail, it was fate. If something bad happens, it's fate. Being here, they might think, is fate.

I think it makes some people feel better to act that way, maybe. But fate doesn't have to be used for that.

What do you think, then?

If you knew that things were lined up toward a certain fate, then you'd know if you wanted to rearrange the way things were set up for a different one.

What about everyone who says that no matter what you do, fate is inescapable?

They just don't know how to change it.

It's not as hard as it seems! Of course, sometimes it is really hard. But really hard still isn't impossible.
