Oh, yes. Promises of all you've ever wanted, comfort in their wretched embrace, and a truly awful makeover. You wind up crazy and deformed in the end--but at least you're happy. Or...you think you are. Right up until you realize you aren't.

I ask myself the very same question almost every day. Surely it would stop more people than it does. But perhaps the positives seem to outweigh the negatives?
