[Hello, Asgard. Your resident David Bowie impersonator is using the video option today to show off a rather snazzy looking establishment in the background. He's smiling coolly, because it may not be the plot for a new Creation, but he's somewhat proud of his bar nonetheless.]
Good morning, Asgard. Considering all of the excitement as of late, the timing for opening a bar couldn't be much better, I feel. What a better way to deal with the decisions of foolish gods than alcohol? Ah, but I'll get to politics momentarily.
Lux will be opening its doors tonight at 6 PM. [He then gives the address...! because hell if I know] And in celebration of opening, you'll find that all food and drinks will be half price. The food is upper-crust bar fare, but you may be pleased to find a few drinks that are a bit more exotic than what Sky's Prize can provide.
Though to make this post somewhat less self-serving, how do you all feel about our resident deities? "Displeased" is the general sentiment I seem to be getting. I believe I've heard talks of rebellion, and my new business ventures or not, I'm somewhat interested to hear about them.
[He smirks] After all, rebellion is something of a specialty of mine.
((ooc: And finally, Lux is open—Or, more accurately, will be open later tonight IC, tomorrow/Thursday OOC, haha. And the log is here. Go get drunk/have fun/etc.))

Truthfully, I don't believe they are deities... well, certainly not those I would call "gods". Admittedly, true gods are scarcely any better.

[He shrugs, like this is obvious]
That they would be able to do so and bring me to a realm that can house my existence, that is an objectively impressive feat alone.

[He shifts slightly in his seat, taking a posture that seems to indicate that he's taking this conversation more seriously.]
I can affirm that they must obey the natural laws. But the laws are also somewhat flexible, if you know how to bend them—Some gods do, and others are not capable of it. The idea of a "miracle" is something of a human construction. Higher up on the proverbial ladder, what humanity would call a miracle is just being liberal with the interpretation of natural law. Whether that manifests as an artefact or natural power is irrelevant.

[He laughs]
There is one I know of who seeks to undo history itself -- defy an already set fate -- something even the gods are chained to. It will be interesting to see if she finally succeeds, or crushed under the weight of her ideals.
[Handwave]
Regardless, such things require an artefact that... well, I suppose such artefacts are not merely powerful, but exist in more than one reality, or are capable of affecting multiple realities.

[And he can't help wonder:] May I ask if your bar will serve alternative choices for inexperience drinkers? I would be most honored to bring my master along to your lovely establishment on opening night, if there is such an option.
no subject
It will, yes. I can't promise as wide of a selection of non-alcoholic drinks, but there are such options. The flavored lemonades and the virgin versions of some of the drinks are quite good.
[The question is easily answered, but decides, out of boredom, to inquire further about one of the details said] Am I to take it that you're a butler, of sorts?
oops. i forgot to add video; on here. sob.
No, but you are close. To everyone outside the residence of my world, I am known as an SS agent, a bodyguard, but I am a merely a dog. My job is to serve my master in every way I can both in protection and servitude.

[He offers an enigmatic smile]
I would be glad to have your patronage. The drinks you'll find at Lux will be of the highest quality. I'm rather picky when it comes to drinks, but it's a quality that will only help my customers.
video;
Sì, the quality of a fine business owner.

[His tone says pretty clearly that he doubts this will happen, though. Arrogance, confidence, or an equal amount of both? Up to you.]

[ and to try and hear more about this "rebellion." ] You've got gall, I'll give you that. Just one question: how exactly is an uprising intended to pan out if all the dirty laundry gets plastered publicly?
video;
Do you think not speaking about it over the network will do any different? The funny thing about gods, they're very rarely not omniscient over their own realms. Speaking of rebellion over their network or in the streets, it will be no different. Unless we all suddenly acquire telepathy as well.
But I'm also not interested in starting a rebellion or even helping. The talks are what interest me. You've seen one rebellion, you've seen them all. [a beat] Or, started, in my case. But that's a matter of semantics.
[Video]
Slightly impressive, though the name leaves something to be desired. [Really, Lux? Somehow it doesn't mesh well with him, but then again it's not his bar.]
Our "deities", however, aren't the slightest bit impressive from what I've seen. I've heard things, but I've yet to see anything, and it's been nearly a week.
