002 ✎ Second Manuscript ✎ Text
...No offense to the gods or anything, but this place has some of the worst editors I've ever seen. Seriously. Because is it just me, or did I somehow miss the memo of "mysterious dragons who talk and spew fire while conversing on war," "ice fairies who give frostbite handshakes," "re: heads exploding is the new black," and now "color is here, you can go search this big forest with no end in sight?" Honestly, I can't tell where anything is going right now. It's like Stephanie Meyer went on a writing rampage with a red pen and forgot to plan anything out beforehand.
...actually, she does that all the time. Probably not the best example.
I guess if I had to relate it to something- it's even worse than the time Barry tried to drunk-edit one of my stories to have Godzilla and Mothra share drinks in a bar and talk politics while watching a bar fight. And that's saying a lot.

The gods run this place and theyre morons that expect us to pick up the slack
So of course everything is all crazy

And if they do, he is seriously failing at his job worse than a fat kid resists cake. Someone should fire him and rehire the old coach, a good one at that.
Video
Nice way of summing things up.

Better than not saying anything at all. [He makes a few gestures at this.] People have a tendency to be quiet when stuff isn't being answered.
Video
But you're a storyteller? *Of some kind, judging by the writing*

Other than the usual "help, we need you to save our asses because we can't change much ourselves for some ~mysterious~ reason." Way too common in mythology fiction. Seen it, read it, had the t-shirt until I realized it was just a same boring repeat between novels. Then I just tossed it out. Definitely not a part of the "cool" crowd, that's for sure.

Also what could you have possibly been writing that it could've been edited to include Godzilla and Mothra?

A bar fight in a suspense novel. No joke, Barry tried to have them place bets, but we couldn't think of what they'd be betting for.

I don't think there were memos sent out, actually. At least none that I got. [there might have been, like, broadcasts, but those are easy to miss and seth is also kind of inattentive sometimes.]

Sarcasm is pretty lost on you, isn't it?
